Poddy Buddy Craft

Introduction

Poddy Buddy Craft is a Fabric 1.19.2 Modpack, with the goal of making exploration feel truly rewarding and interesting, as well as making building easier, less grindy, and more fun. Poddy Buddy Craft also has Questing, showcasing all of the main mods, acting as a tutorial, or extra rewards for more experienced players.

World Generation

World Generation has been vastly improved with biomes from Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Biome Makeover, Promenade, and Geophilic. Terrain has been completely overhauled by Tectonic, adding new massive cliffs, taller mountains, deeper oceans, and more interesting generation in general. A plethora of structures have been added, making it fun and rewarding to travel around the map, finding new dungeons, unique weapons, and new biomes.

Movement

Even though massive cliffs and mountains may look cool, they can be a pain to traverse. But with the introduction of Gliders and Hookshots, moving around and exploring them is super easy. Long distance travel isn't left out either, with planes from Immersive Aircrafts, you can travel long distances quickly.

Questing  

Poddy Buddy Craft has many custom Questlines for you to explore and complete, showing you the basics of Movement, Farming, Combat, and much more. Questing still is in development, and v1.1 will have a major questing update.

History

Poddy Buddy Craft started out as a Modpack for a server I made back in May 2022 for some friends, originally called PBMS (Poddy Buddy Modded Server). A few months later, PBMS 2 was released, featuring a new Modpack, and server. This trend continued, where every few months there would be a new Server and Modpack released alongside each other. The servers would be called PBSMP,  then followed by the number, like PBSMP 2, PBSMP 4, or PBSMP 5. Back in July 2023, I decided to release the next Modpack publicly, which is what this. PBC was released as was used for PBSMP 7, and then got an update, and is now being used for PBSMP 8. The next modpack will not be on PBC, but instead a future modpack, PBDA. PBC will still be maintained and will have occasional updates.

The v1.0 Update!🥳

The v1.0 Update has released after two months of development! v1.0 adds many new features, the highlights being 50 new mods, Custom GUI Texture Pack (I'm not an artist but I tried my best), New Quests, Major Balance Changes, Major Ocean Update, TONS of Bug Fixes, Custom Datapacks, Custom Armor Balancing, Custom Tips, Custom Title Screen, and more.
