About
Description
Pony Pony Panic, a sandbox RPG modpack built around exploration, magic, and survival.
The goal of this pack is simple: create a My Little Pony sandbox RPG experience without tech progression or rigid modpack goals.
If you think “Pony Skyrim”, that’s roughly the idea.
You explore, build, adventure with friends, develop your character’s abilities, and wander through a world full of structures, magic, and creatures. Nothing forces a progression path. The pack is designed so players can naturally find their own playstyle.
Attached with the modpack are pre-configured keybinds, recommended settings, and a link to the official server so players can jump in quickly. The modpack is designed around a multiplayer experience but is perfectly capable for single player.
Key note: this pack does not include tech mods or strict progression systems. The focus is on sandbox RPG gameplay and world exploration.
1. Pony Framework (Unicopia + Mine Little Pony + Big Pony + MLP Addons)
This is the core of the entire pack.
Unicopia provides the tribe system, magic abilities, spells, and mechanics that define how ponies interact with the world. Mine Little Pony handles the character models and animations, while Big Pony and additional addons expand customization and scale.
Together they turn Minecraft into a fully playable pony RPG environment rather than just a cosmetic change.
2. The Aether (with all Aether Enhancements)
The Aether adds a large floating dimension filled with islands, temples, and unique creatures.
Because of the vertical terrain and open airspaces, it pairs especially well with pegasi flight and aerial exploration. It ends up being one of the most relaxing exploration dimensions in the pack while still containing dungeons and adventure content.
3. Biome & World Overhaul (Biomes O’ Plenty + Ecologics + WilderNature + Meadow + ambiance mods)
These mods expand the overworld with a much larger variety of forests, meadows, wetlands, caves, and environmental details.
The goal here was to make exploration actually feel rewarding. Traveling long distances should regularly reveal new landscapes rather than repeating terrain.
Many smaller ambience mods are also included to make the world feel more alive without impacting gameplay balance.
4. Structure Megapack (YUNG’s Better series + Dungeons Arise + Dungeons & Taverns + Epic Villages/Witch Huts + Ruins)
The world is heavily populated with structures.
Dungeons, taverns, ruins, villages, and underground complexes appear across the world. These provide exploration goals, loot, and places that feel like remnants of older civilizations.
Players who enjoy exploration will rarely run out of places to investigate.
5. Deeper and Darker
This mod expands the Deep Dark biome with additional structures, mechanics, and creatures.
It turns the Deep Dark into a full exploration environment rather than just a single encounter area. It is also a great region for batpony players due to the darker environments and underground navigation.
6. Magic & RPG Systems (Scriptor + Puffish Skills + RPG Skill Tree + Mythic Upgrades)
These mods add lightweight RPG systems that allow players to develop abilities over time.
Instead of strict class systems, players gradually improve skills through play. Spell writing, stat improvements, and equipment upgrades allow characters to evolve naturally during exploration.
The goal is to support RPG progression without turning the pack into a grind-heavy leveling system.
7. Mythic Metals (and Add-ons)
Mythic Metals expands the equipment system with new materials, weapons, armor sets, and upgrade paths.
It gives players more long-term crafting goals while still keeping the pack focused on exploration rather than automation or industrial progression.
8. Cozy Survival & Kitchen Expansion (Farmer’s Delight + Let’s Do Series + Cooking For Blockheads + Herbal Brews + Bakery)
Cooking and farming are expanded heavily.
These mods add a wide variety of meals, ingredients, farming tools, and food systems that make settlements feel more alive. Cooking becomes something worth investing in rather than just a basic hunger mechanic.
It also works well for multiplayer towns or roleplay communities.
9. Building & Decor Suite (Adorn + Chipped + Blockus + Handcrafted + Macaw’s + Rechiseled)
A large number of decorative and building mods are included so players can create villages, homes, and towns with much more personality.
Furniture, architectural blocks, bridges, lanterns, and decorative elements allow players to build environments that feel like real places rather than simple Minecraft houses.
10. Combat & Creature Enrichment (Better Combat + Simply Swords + Creeper Overhaul + Monsters In The Closet)
Combat is improved to feel smoother and more readable without turning the game into a hardcore combat modpack.
Better Combat and Simply Swords expand weapon variety and attack animations, while creature overhaul mods add new behaviors and enemy variants.
The goal is to make encounters more interesting without overwhelming players.
System Requirements
You will need roughly 8000MB (8GB) of allocated memory to run the pack comfortably.
