Description
An edition of Minecraft thats closer to the older versions of Minecraft while maintaining a few modern features.
Generate terrain from any version it will then be converted into a block pallet from older Minecraft. Some modern features have remained like nether bricks, the wither, and beacons. The player can not sprint or stack food but will have to contend with modern monsters. The end has been removed, all tools added after beta 1.7.3 have been removed. Overall more has been removed compared to what has been added, unlike other nostalgic packs this pack doesnt feel modded. This modpack focused on removing the added extras from modern Minecraft that consume the main content while still remaining fun with only the base game.
That being said this modpack is finished meaning any updates will just be bug fixes.
Some added features not found in Minecraft - Buffed Beacon Effects(All Vanilla Effects), More Music Discs(All Vanilla Ost), More Paintings, Mobs have infinite potion effects like Pigs having Speed II, or Iron Golems having Regeneration II, making Pig Riding more feasible, Suspicious Stew and Tipped arrows can be crafted from many ingredients, Respawn Anchors can be found where ancient debris used to be
The way enchanting works is there are no enchanted books, only enchanted tools and armor, you can not disenchant or enchant things yourself but you can combine and repair items at an anvil. Renaming at an anvil is free, repairing only cost 1 level, and combine cost 1 level for every level in the combination example a sharpness XI (11) sword combined with a unbreaking LVI (56) sword should cost 67 levels. There is no anvil exp limit, and name tags do not require an anvil, also anvils can not break.
You can not tell what enchantment an item has, there are no curses, the only enchantments still in the game are -
Power, Flame, Fire Aspect, Silk Touch, Sharpness, Unbreaking, Efficiency, Protection, Feather Falling, Thorns, Respiration, Aqua Affinity, Depth Strider & Lure
You can convert levels directly into Bottles of Enchanting, this can be to protect or share your levels.
