Description

This is XanderJRF (or my pseudonym, Potato Man)'s first pack, which using a whole ensemble of mods, allows your normal minecraft experience to be taken to a whole new level. Explore the world, in a whole new way, from little things like the sound of crisp footsteps or rushing water (using OreCruncher's Dynamic Sounds), all the way to monuments full of some sort of ancient evil (Shinoow's AbyssalCraft)

On top of that, it includes a large mix of industrial machinery and Magic based mods (while also being light to run on mid-range hardware) so that you will never be out of things to be doing, should you get bored with some mechanics of a certain mod. Speaking of which, some of our bigger titles included in the pack are:

Interesting Mods

   -  AbyssalCraft (by Shinoow, link to mod's curse page), to add a spooky yet curious atmosphere

   -  Applied Energistics 2, a nice mod to clean up any storage issues that arise with mod packs as big as this

   -  Astral Sorcery (Mod's page), adding new monuments, as well as the ability to use the stars for your own gain

   -  Draconic Evolution, lengthening the final parts of the game by adding resources and mechanics in The End

   -  Immersive Engineering, a technology mod which aims to make machines more realistic while at the same time, work to give valuable alternatives to other mods

   - Foamfix and VanillaFix, which drastically decreases the amount of RAM required to run the modpack and also helps raise the framerate to a smooth level

   - Mekanism, a pack which gives new ways to generate energy, and a selection of machinery for those to power

   - NuclearCraft, which of course adds a great deal of mechanics related to nuclear energy and radiation

   - ThaumCraft (Mod's Link), a mod based around learning the elements of the universe, and bending them to your will however you see fit

   - And a whole lot more! Why sit here and read through when you can be exploring a creating a new world, from summoning dark evils, to creating massive factories so you never need to craft another day of you life. I could tell you that this is everything minecraft needs to feel fresh again, but I doubt you'd believe me without seeing it yourself, so hop in and check it out!

Minimum of 5GB of allocated memory; Reccommended: 6-7GB

I hope you enjoy, and I am open to other suggestions for new mods to be added to the pack, given that they really add to the experience while also not sacrificing the speed of the machine running them.

MISC

Here I'll post the mods and their web pages as the developers see fit: BetterFPS (by Guichaguri, link); Biomes o' plenty (link); Carry On (by Tschipp and Purplicious_Cow, link); CXLibrary (CubeX2); Enchantment Descriptions (by DarkhaxDev, link)
