About

Description

With this modpack, I tried hard to emulate those feelings I remember in Minecraft from a long time ago, namely that feeling of being in a strange dangerous land with terrors that could be lurking in any of corner, trying to rip your hard work from your inventory. The Minecraft world back then was poorly understood and lacking in tutorialization, so by using more lesser known mods, even the more experienced players may find new systems to play with. Also, I tried to make it a concise, balanced experience where mods don't often step on other mod's toes, though, I admit, some paths exist which allow a discerning player to skip some mods. I'm okay with these alternate avenues, that's why they're still in here, even if there is still a large emphasis on leading the player on a certain path through various mods one by one. I did a lot of fiddling with the configuration files and a few recipes, so if there is some feature that you aren't quite sure about, changing it is probably possible. At this point, I'm probably not even sure of the kinds of things I changed in the name of keeping the experience of mods flowing into one another, so if some machine or it's kind isn't working, the configs are the place to check. Hope that you enjoy it!

NOTE: The Twilight Forest portal requires a Dilithium crystal rather than a diamond.
