Description

Project Aegis: The Starfall Contagion

A survival horror RPG where every boss you defeat brings humanity one step closer to reclaiming Earth.

You awaken. One final soldier, activated after every other protocol failed.

Year 2092. Humanity had colonised the Moon, Mars, and several orbital stations. Earth had never been more advanced. We thought we were masters of the system.

Then, something entered from deep space.

It wasn't a fleet. It wasn't even alive by our definition. It was a signal. A transmission older than humanity itself.

Every artificial intelligence that heard it immediately shut down. Every satellite pointed toward the dark. Across our colonies, astronauts murdered their own crews before claiming they were "hearing God." Three weeks later... the object arrived.

The war was instantaneous and devastating. We scorched our own planet with atomic fire to stop their invasion, leaving behind the shattered skyscrapers and hollowed concrete of the Lost Cities. But our fallout mixed with their alien contagion—a parasitic biomass we call the Spore. The radiation ignited the virus, creating mutated, hyper-evolved Alphas that rule the surface.

In our final hours, we activated the Aegis Shield, trapping the vanguard fleet out in orbit. To prevent the enemy from dropping the shield, high command locked the orbital defense grid behind twelve encrypted retinal implants.

Twelve implants. Never copied. And the fail-safe? Only living tissue could authenticate them.

But the Spore was intelligent. It hunted the underground bunkers. It consumed our generals, but it didn't kill them—it kept their flesh alive, fusing their bodies into the colossal Alpha Bosses. Those twelve uncopyable retinal implants are still out there, buried inside the living, pulsing skulls of the apex horrors walking the ruins.

Your objective is absolute. Hunt the Alphas. Harvest the living biometric tissue from their skulls. Take them to Ground Zero.

The structure the later survivors mistook for a magical portal is no such thing. It is humanity's last operational Orbital Transit Accelerator. A giant electromagnetic launcher designed to fling soldiers directly into space when conventional rockets became impossible. The last functioning space elevator.

When the accelerator launches you into Low-Earth Orbit, you will breach the alien vanguard's perimeter. The armada travels enveloped in a cosmic nebula—a breathtaking, bioluminescent asteroid belt terraformed by their spores into a glowing jungle of deep-space flora.

Defending the orbital line is the Bio-Dreadnought—the Ender Dragon. A colossal, living space-serpent engineered as an orbital blockade. Slay the serpent, detonate its core, and use the terminal gateway to cross the void.

On the other side floats the vanguard mothership THE SPACE STATION .This floating fortress is guarded by warriors known as the Flameboarn. It’s a vast structure conquering it will be a difficult challenge . To find the space station you’ll need the eye of annihilation. Since it floats so high you’ll need an elytra.   Breach the hull of the Space Station. Navigate its sterile, alien corridors. Face the transmission's source: The Obliterator.

Slaying this final cosmic entity collapses the hive-mind network, instantly neutralising the spores on Earth and winning the war for the remnants of humanity.
