The Premise

On the surface, the world seems normal. Massive continents, sweeping mountain ranges, and rich land plains give you a safe place to build, mine, and establish your footing. But the safety of the shore is an illusion.

The shores of these vast continents drop off instantly into a flat, midnight-blue $Y = -40$ abyssal void that wraps around the entire globe. The mainland offers security, but the true progression, rare treasures, and dark secrets are buried deep beneath the waves. You can only stay on land for so long before the deep calls you down.
