Project Victory

Project Victory is the result of an attempt to make a Realtime Strategy Game in Minecraft. 

It is built around Ancient Warfare 2 and HBM's Nuclear Tech (with other mods like Immersive Engineering and Astral Sorcery to help), turning Minecraft into a tense struggle between rival nations throughout the ages.

It is best played on multiplayer with a group of trusted friends.

If you manage to survive the first few days without getting stabbed to death, you can make use of advanced technologies to construct a castle for yourself, and begin your plans to conquer the world.

Included in this modpack are nukes, guns, tanks and even helicopters, ensuring that there's plenty of ways to annihilate your enemies. 

Also included are countless config tweaks and even custom recipes, most of which are made to make things easier. Project Victory also includes a comprehensive questbook which answers just about every question that can be posed about the most of the pack's mods: you can join a Project Victory server without having ever played modded MC and end up just as skilled as your most powerful rivals.

This is not a hardcore pack. Most of the danger comes from other people and, depending on your skill level, yourself.
