Project-Astralis

Project Astralis is a large 1.10.2 modpack that is currently in beta and is being developed by Astralic. It is designed with mods for every type of playstyle and can be played solo or in small-medium sized servers. This pack is in active development, expect frequent changes and bugs.

Be sure to allocate the pack at least 4GB of Ram or it may not load.

Important Server Files Information:

The first load will take a long time as it will gen the spawn area in over 100 dims, be patient this is a one time thing and it will help stop lag when loading these dims later! If you do not have enough RAM allocated you will have to reset the server multiple times to finish this process.

If you are not using the default scripts make sure you are loading your jar as SpongeBootstrap-0.6.0.jar

It is highly recommended to pregenerate the overworld. This can be done by:

1. going to 0, 0 in the world

2. Setting a world border with /world border set 5000 (5000 can be changed to be smaller or larger if you prefer)

3. Using the command /world border gen world -a

4. Wait for it to finish, if you have any restarts/crashes resume the generation with the /world border gen world -a command and it will start where it left off.

This pregenerator has been extensively tested and it is safe to use with this modpack and the only one I recommend using.

Public Dedicated Server:

This pack includes the official server in the server list which is rocking a 5ghz 7700k and 64GB Memory!

Unification:

One of the main goals for this modpack is to ensure everything is unified to deliver a fluid experience. This means no duplicate items like 3 swords of the same type, all metals or similar items will be of one type, world gen is of one type and all machines can use the same power systems, including IC2 machines working with RF!

Beautiful Worlds

A huge amount of time has been invested in making it so the world looks fantastic without the world gen being too slow!

Custom Ore generation

This pack features custom ore gen and unique ways to get ores.

Custom Recipes/Balance Changes

Hundreds of changes to configs + tons of balance changes have been made! Some mods will be or are integrated into others.

Minimum 4GB ram. Recommended 4-6GB.
