About
Description
Ever felt watched? Ever wanted to feel the spooky nature of Halloween but are too scared to really dive in? Well, this modpack should suit you! This is what I call the Pumpkinpatch Genre, which is basically Horror/Cozy themed. The Pumpkinpatch Horror modpack keeps the feel of Halloween with creatures such as Dwellers and the Anomoly, but adds lesser horrors like Electric Sheep, SCP 999(orange slime fella), and Overhauled Creepers and Enderman for different biomes. Please read the stuff below to keep some things in mind about this pack, and do comment and let me know what you think!
- This modpack involves a lot of different mods, but I would like to point out some things before going over some of the mods
- First, this modpack has been tested in multiplayer and singleplayer and works well with both, as far as we can tell. It went through a lot of iterations before this version. So if you, for whatever reason, want to modify the modlist, let me warn you about one set. Do not download Dynamic Trees with this modpack. During testing, we had that mod, and for whatever reason, it caused lag anytime we so much as looked at the trees. Once removed, the lag was gone.
- We can't confirm whether or not this modpack will work with mods outside of what it has, so if you decide to modify it, that is on you
- Cozy Mod Mentions
- Lets Do Mods: Bakery, Brewery, Candlelight, Vinery, Farm & Charm
- Butcher's Delight and Butcher's Delight Foods
- Comforts
- Fantasy's Furniture
- Farmer's Delight
- Cooking For Blockheads
- Fairy Lights
- Horror Mod Mentions
- SCP 001, 017, 131(Friendly), 280, 294(Friendly Yet Deadly In A Funny Way), 3000, 372, 594, 6096, 999(Tickle Monster, Friendly)
- Siren Head(Read Warning Below)
- Special Mobs(Halloween Themed Mobs)
- The Root of Fear
- True Herobrine
- Now, a few mods to modify the config files to have a more cozy vibe when playing(if you wish to do that)
- The Man From The Fog
- His config file is called 'man' or something along those lines, and you simply need to switch his block-breaking privileges to false.
- Siren Head
- VOLUME WARNING: You will want to set "Hostile Mobs" Volume to 1 to not make yourself deaf due to his chase scene maxing out the volume. He will still sound loud even with the hostile mobs' volume set at 1.
- Remove his block-breaking privileges both with leaves and melee.
- The Man From The Fog
