Description
Welcome to (one of) the best looking and sounding mods out there.
This pack is no longer updated
Purely Beautiful is a project much like Purely Optimised... Except that it's the exact opposite! Focusing on looking good over everything else (with a few optimisations to make things easier) Purely Beautiful will make your game sound and look like a wholly different game. With Iris and Complimentary Shaders built right in you can expect the game to look amazing from the get go. Add some other visual modifications like Illuminations, Effective Water and other amazing mods (I will link to all of them below, and in the included section) I don't think Minecraft has ever looked this good!
On top of these amazing visual changes, you also get the amazing sound quality of Sound Physics Remastered and Presence Footsteps. This makes exploring caves sound blissful, especially with the new massive caves from 1.18.
Add some useful mods like the Xaero's Minimap and Map mods, a mod to help understanding Enchant effects (all of which are not needed for the effect of this mod) and you have a useful AND good looking modpack!
Disclaimers:
Using this modpack may increase risk of getting banned on competitive servers like Hypixel due to the Better Third Person mods freecam capabilities. This case also applies for Xaero's mods (I am using the Fair Play minimap to help this, but ask the owners of servers before using these mods in particular)
Essential Mod seems to cause crashes on first launches after updating. I will not be actively trying to fix this, but if I find a fix I will remove this message. Simply relaunch the game as normal to fix this issue
