Description
A pack determined to enjoy Minecraft without an RTX-3090!
Mission Statement:
Fixing the various issues with base Minecraft, allowing for great performance on weak machines.
In addition to performance, a few features are added to provide a better overall experience and increase immersion.
What Is Included?
We include just under 30 mods using the Fabric launcher.
Also included is Clean AF, my personal mashup Resource Pack.
Alongside Clean AF, BSL Shaders come in the pack, as they are our recommended shaders.
Performance Mods
These are the mods which directly impact the performance of your game, giving you more FPS!
BetterBeds - Change how beds are rendered for better performance.
EntityCulling - Don't render it if you can't see it!
FerriteCore - Reduces memory usage. Works great with Hydrogen.
Hydrogen - Reduces heap memory usage. Works great with FerriteCore.
Item Model Fix - Fixes the transparent lines on the edges of models.
LazyDFU - Only load DFU rules when needed, saving 20+ seconds on boot.
Lithium - Big changes to how systems work without changing any behaviors. Nearly halves the average tick usage.
Smooth Boot - Optimizes the Minecraft loading performance on both low and high end systems.
Sodium - Massive FPS improvements, the core of Fabric optimization mods.
Sodium Extras - Allows even more optimization from Sodium by disabling particle effects. Only to be used on the worst of systems.
Gameplay Improvement Mods
These are the mods which most obviously change the game and your experience.
'Slight' GUI Modifications - Improvements to various GUI's.
BetterF3 - Make the F3 menu more beginner-friendly.
Dark Loading Screen - Makes the painfully-bright white loading screen customizable (black by default).
Dynamic Music - Adds some new music, adds more cues for music.
Enchantment Descriptions - Very simple mod which adds descriptions to enchantments, to help newer players.
Fabrishot - Allows up to 4k res screenshots.
Falling Leaves - One of the most beautiful mods I've seen. Such a simple particle effect, but man, it does a lot for the eyes.
Infinite Music - Allows you to set the amount of time between music tracks (no time by default).
Iris Shaders - Allow shaders to be used with Sodium!
ModMenu - Provides a menu in-game for mod configs.
Night Vision Fade - Very simple mod, changes the incessant blinking when Night Vision expires with a gentle fade.
Ok Zoomer - Adds a zoom feature, similar to Optifine's (C by default).
ShulkerBoxTooltip - Allows you to Shift while hovering over a Shulker box to see it's contents without placing it.
ToolTipFix - Makes tooltips stop running off the screen.
API's Included
Unless you intend to modify the pack for yourself, these can be ignored, as they are included by necessity for various mods to work.
Architectury API - Required by Slight GUI Modifications.
Cloth API - Required by: Dark Loading Screen.
Cloth Config API - Required by Falling Leaves.
Fabric API - Take a guess why this is needed.
