Description

WARNING; 2.0 worlds are NOT compatible with worlds from previous versions.

The first version of this pack was a wonderful disaster. It was beautiful but it ate server ram for breakfast, generally sitting idle at +8GB of memory usage on our old server. Due partly to the huge memory overhead of the pack, crashes due to the world generator pushing the pack over memory and needing to change host, the pack required a redesign. So today I present to you Wolfpack 2.0.

Many mods have been removed, substituted or updated and creating a proper change log is impossible at this point. 2.0 Pushes the pack back towards the pack it was intended to replace and its original design ethos. While it is not a true vanilla+ pack, it is designed along similar lines. 2.0 is much less tech heavy having lost more than half of its tech mods and instead gained a magic mod.

Almost every aspect of the world has been enhanced is some way. Wolfpack 2.0 gives you plenty of amazing landscapes to explore, with biomes enhancements stretching deep underground. Smaller enhancements focus more on individual biomes rather than overwriting the whole world. A larger variety of flora and small inconspicuous fauna can be found despite the removal of alex’s mobs.

Create and its addon will allow you to automate a great many things and build weird and wonderful contraptions to do everything from fully automate lunch to process ores. Please do not get these two things confused.

Here are some of the things that you can do in WolfPack 2.0

Journey through vast landscapes with subtle (and some overt, but) vanilla friendly enhancements.

Explore enhanced vanilla land marks.

Play with dozens of new enchantment and potions.

Upgrade (some of) your equipment with gems.

Build a create steam powered digital mass storage system.

Explore the depths (and terrors) of the ocean.

Customise and cast spells or automate with magic.

Find odd artefacts in chests to make life easier and your enemies fear you.

Beautify your world with gardens or terrorise it with biomechanical horrors.

Explore the blue skies dimensions and fight crabs.

Turn magical flowers towards your will.

Plant many beautiful and vibrant tree varieties.

Plan insane contraptions while eating nachos.

Drink tea while patting your pets.

Collect dozens of beautiful plants for no good reason.

Customise your builds with hundreds of cosmetic block, framed blocks or chisel blocks away to make custom embellishments and furniture.

Become a witch and live in a swamp or become and artist and live in a flower forest.

Journey across an enhanced nether for materials or summon demons to automate all the things if you hate windmills.

Build energy shields to protect yourself from harm.

Construct miniaturised redstone system to assist in your automation adventures or to assist in exploding your enemies.

Make compost to grow mushrooms and dig for worms to put in fish traps.

Make new friends and meet new enemies along the way.

And of course, use all of the new blocks to build and design to your hearts content.

Below is a description for the 1.x version of the pack for anyone that might still want to try it.

Radiant Ram presents Wolfpack

A medium sized kitchen-sink pack with an emphasis on world generation mods to encourage exploration.

We have an expanded overworld, nether, end, blue skies and the twilight forest to explore. A world populated by villages, castles, dungeons and shipwrecks to pillage. You will find cute pets, placid wildlife and aggressive monsters in your journey and craft magic, technology and many types of things in between.

There are no custom quests, there is no custom tweaked end game, you can not get creative items after a thousand hours of grind. Instead you will find a plethora of cosmetic and functional items to beautify and enhance your base and pvp experience. Double jump, wall climb, dodge and parry your way through the world.

Will you craft the heaviest armour you can afford and sacrifice your dodge for resilience in combat? Will you seek out rare items to enhance and upgrade your light armour to favour mobility in combat? Or will you walk a middle ground of mixed weight armour? The choice is yours.

Radiant Ram presents Wolfpack is a 1.19.2 upgraded version of our original 1.18.2 Radiant Ram modpack. Due to community request, this is a more tech heavy pack than its predecessor, but still retains it exploration and construction focus. As many of the mods from the last pack have returned as was possible. Some still have not upgrade and others are not as compatible as before.

Be warned, due to the number of mods that modify world generation, the pack can be slow on older computers. Especially when generating new terrain or when preparing to start a new world.
