About
Description
RaptureCraft is a Hardcore, Survival Horror Modpack taking inspiration from the Book of Revelations (obviously).
The Pack's main feature is it's use of the config files from several mods you're probably familiar with. Mods like Lycanites Mobs, Scape and Run: Parasites, and several others have had their settings turned up to the hardest difficulty. Each day in a survival world, parasites are upgraded to their next tier. The main goal is to try to survive till the last phase on day 7. I'd say you should try to kill the ender dragon, but beating the game might be impossible.
Vanilla mobs also get a significant boost in strength as well. Most if not all vanilla mobs are infernal. Meaning they have special effects to try to kill you. Nerd pole, hide under ground, do whatever you think you can to try to survive, it won't work. Epic Siege Mod sees that mobs can pillar up to you, blow up any of your defensives, and make you want to alt+f4 and cry like noob.
It's not all bad though.
With the addition of all these mods that turn the game into hell (literally) (no I mean like literally) . These are a few changes you may want to take note of:
1. Dungeons
If you're willing to explore into any of the massive dungeons, they all have very good loot. (You will need it)
2. Turrets
If you're looking to play the game more akin to Dwarf Fortress, You can always try to set up some sort of bunker and defend it with OpenModularTurrets. Note that only Tier 1 turrets need energy from the "crank" item though. Tier 2 turrets and bases only require ammo, because I thought it would be more fun and "balanced" that way.
3. Beds
You might not be able to sleep or skip the night, but you can still set your respawn point at them. Yippee!
