Rolling release of "Redblockers Adventure" modpacks, a series of custom modpacks for the redblockers.tk community, reforged as a Curse launcher modpack. Each mayor first version number is the year of the modpack. Different years' modpacks are not map safe between them. Consider a new map after an update to a new year number.

Caution, expect higher than usual difficulty: some recipes in this modpack are fine tuned to require lower tech components from other mods. For example, to build a steam RF generator you may need brass plates fabricated with another mod. The fine tuning is made so that it makes sense and forces a small progression. Vanilla tools are disabled, too. Please use Tinker's Construct tools instead.

2015 Description:  

This is the equivalent to "Redblockers Adventure 2" custom modpack , reforged as a Curse launcher modpack. This modpack tries to add up low tech and not too advanced magic with some adventure and RPG oriented mods. High tech technical mods like Industrialcraft, Thermal Expansion or Buildcraft are replaced by magic or low tech equivalents like Ancient Warfare, Botania and others. Steampunk and Dieselpunk options are available as an alternative to players that doesn't desire to rise their own small city to automate their bases.

For the ecologist or pacifist players out there, there's alternative renewable ways of getting materials without fighting (ex nihilo, ex astris, the vegan option), allowing . If you are more combat inclined, you will find new minecraft-like weaponry (just like Steve would design it) and combat oriented magic mods (witchery) that gives the players the tools for the trade in anarchy or clan war servers with a variety of tactical options for attack and defense.

The modpack supports the new Botania Skyblock mode, "Garden of Glass", for players looking for an extra challenge.

    New mob mechanics (and backups!) From new kinds of golems to help you, to chameleon like creepers that try and mimetize with their surroundings, or tall grass that spreads cutting your field of view arround your base. Lot's of small changes to game mechanics that brings new challenges!

    Cooking channel approved "Cooking for blockheads" will give you plenty of options to organize and simplify your cooking needs, withough having to renounce to all the fun stuff the extra food mods adds. Easy as pie!

    Harvest season is coming... "Pam's Harvescraft", "Terraqueous"... Plenty of toys for the agrarian player. Heck, they can even harvest raw mystic essences to create all kinds of resources from crops. Who said agriculture in minecraft is boring?

    Magic is everywhere. Botania, Evilcraft, Roots... Want to play as a druid? Check. North american style shaman in harmony with the land? Check. Use the elven knowledge of flower magic? Check. Even the villain of the story has a magic option that works well with it's gameplay...

    "Quark" and "Better with mods" included The modpack includes other higher tier mods like Immersive engineering, but if you want to go for a vanilla style gameplay, you are covered with quark and Better with Mods.
