Description
Overview:
This modpack is created to mostly enhance the prexisting gameplay loop and visuals of minecraft. This modpack is more vanilla friendly than vanilla plus, as it does add some light magic and fantasy elements, but those elements are both nonintrusive and can be completely ignored if wanted. The enhancements made are to aspects to the game such as exploring, farming, taming, and building. The enhanced world generation and revamped structures give veteran players something new to look foward too. The farming system has been modified with more crops, proper seasons, more recipes, and more tools. There is a large addition of vanilla friendly mobs and some behavioral changes to pre-existing mobs adds to the quality of life improvements made. Not many new blocks are added, but new furniture is implemented from a few different mods. They all fit the middleage/cottage core asthetic to keep things as vanilla as possible.
Visuals:
Many of the visual changed were inspired by projects of other creators to recreate the style of the minecraft trailers. Everything but the Bare Bones resource pack comes with the modpack. This includes shaders that are compatible, animations, and fixes for these issues. The compatability resource packs should be at the top of the load order.
Shaders:
The two shaders that I recommend for this modpack are BSL and Complimentary. Both come preinstalled but are optional. BSL is a little harder to run than complimentary, but is a lot brighter and colorful. I personally play with Complimentary as I don't like getting flashbanged everytime I look up. The Complimentary shaders do conflict with Bare Bones' leaves texture, but the "Bare Bones - Flux Enhanced Addon" resource pack fixes it.
Animations:
A large part of the vanilla plus experience is simply adding more animations. There are resource packs that add mob animations, along with more expressive player ones. "What are they up to" by Watut adds multiplayer based animation for things like checking inventory or typing in chat.
Multiplayer:
The voice chat mod allows players to communicate locally in game, perfect for a more immersive multiplayer experience. With minor changes to the chat feature and new achievements, playing with your friends is going to be a new experience.
