This is a small gathering of special mods to enhance the vanilla Minecraft experience for a new group of friends. We wanted to bring some extra flavor to the vanilla game for experienced players while minimizing the bloat for newer players. This bloat is a new player turnoff found in many big mod packs.

Some things you can expect from the RektCraft Mod Pack (Revision 1):

• An enhanced vanilla experience. How often have you wanted to introduce a new player to Minecraft, as an experienced player? Many experienced players have dabbled into the world of mods and want to share with their friends who may be inexperienced. This is our situation and we wanted to created a modpack that keeps Minecraft true to itself.
  • Alex's Mobs was included as a way to enhance the standard Mobs but not overwhelm new players with crazy monsters that might kill them in one hit
  • Pam's Harvestcraft, Aquaculture 2, and Cooking for Blockheads were included to enhance the cooking and farming aspect of vanilla minecraft. Many of our players love to create farms and sell food to the players on the server. This gives them more flexibility.
  • Biomes O' Plenty, The Bumblezone, YUNG's Better Caves, The Undergarden, and YUNG's Better Mineshafts were added to really enhance the geography of the land without creating a jarring first experience for new players. Experienced players will have great fun exploring these new areas.
  • Rats was added as a way for players to work towards training pets for whatever needs they desire!
  • Quark, One Player Sleeping, and Just Enough Items (JEI)  were added for additional utility and quality of life improvements for multiplayer server play.
  • Chance Cubes are hilarious and should be added to any server for some chaotic laughs.
