Description
Hello, this is a short introduction to Curse Forge's Returner's Craft!
The intention of this text is to be a short guide to the mod that I now present to you, explaining all the most important points that otherwise would not be discovered by the unwary player. I do not intend to exhaust the contents of the mods, just what they contain so the player can search them on his own late for more details.
This modpack was made under one context: to bring old friends into one last fun experience. In order to do so, it was necessary to bring several different mods that would make the game instigating (it would get very bored very fast otherwise!) but without losing the normal, typical minecraft aesthetics of the good old days, which we can call "Vanilla-Friendly". So, I took the care to not put too much bizarre stuff in to it, as it usually happens with most modpacks.
To the proposed end, Returner's Craft was made under three principles: difficulty, fun and construction. The mods added to pursue these principles are listed below.
Difficulty:
To make the game (way!) more difficult, we have:
- Zombie Awareness
Classic Minecraft mobs will now be able to see the player from a greater distance, search the map by following their blood trails, hear the sound they make (of footsteps, blocks being broken, food being eaten, etc.), see in the distance the flash of their torch, and more.
- True Darkness
Now, in unlit locations, the game becomes truly dark, and it is almost impossible to see anything. There is no way around it by increasing the brightness, although shaders nullify the mechanics of this mod.
- Infernal Mobs
Now there is a chance that normal aggressive mobs (zombie, creeper, skeleton, etc.) will have special abilities of many different kinds, becoming true minibosses.
- Gateway to Eternity
With a gate pearl (search Just Enough Items for the recipe) you can open a portal that will bring several waves of hostile creatures to fight the players present. Quite difficult, quite fun, and with a reasonable loot. In addition, there are some new, hostile mobs roaming the overworld.
- Nyf’s Spiders:
Now, spiders have a much sharper intelligence and a much faster, natural and dangerous movement system.
- Born in Chaos
Several new zombie variants. Sometimes difficult, sometimes hilarious.
Fun!:
- World Generation:
- Terralith:
Over 80 new biomes allied with a new, much more sophisticated terrain generation mode. Changes in the Overworld, the Nether and the End.
- Bygone nether
More content, mobs and biomes in the Nether.
- Amplified Nether
The Nether's height is now 256, greatly increasing your space in there. Search it on youtube and see the results!
- When Dungeons Arise
- Castle in The Sky
- Structory
- Repurpused Structures
- Oh The Biomes You’ll Go
- Yung’s ALL (all YUNG mods except the cave mod)
- It Takes a Pillage
- Quark
- New Dimensions
- The Bumblezone
- Twilight Forest
- The Accurate Backrooms
- The Undergarden
- + Nether and The End also improved!
- Mobs:
- Friends and Foes
Mobs that were rejected by community votes are now available in the world, as well as creatures that have only remained as undeveloped concepts by the creators.
- Alex’s Mob
Over 80 new mobs spread across land, air, and water, both in the Overworld and in the Nether and End. Several new items, too, in addition.
- Fins and Tails
Dozens of new aquatic mobs!
- Goblins & Dungeons:
Now there are goblins. There is dungeons too. There are goblins and dungeons on the overworld map now!
- Extra Golems:
Now, there are more than 40 golens at your disposal to protect your home and your goodies! Check their page here
- Extras:
- Artifacts
There are new artifacts scattered around the world with different effects. Can you find them all?
- Table Top Craft
Now I can finally play chess and tick tack toe with my friends! Yes, it is now possible to play chess on the minecraft server.
- Journey Map
- Journey Map
The game now has a world map and a mini-map! Press j to access it.
- Immersive Aircraft
To revolutionize the means of transportation, it has become possible to create balloons, biplanes, quadcopters, and other types of flying vehicles in the game. Again, all vanilla-friendly!
- Farmers’s Delight
There is a much wider variety of foods to be made within the game, with a much more elaborate process than simply putting meats in the furnace. In addition, the planting system has been significantly improved, making it a more engaging task.
- Spice of Life
Having a diverse diet is now rewarded. Eating new foods regenerates more hunger points, and eating the same meal over and over again will nourish the player less and less.
- Waystones
You can teleport to different points on the map through structures called "Waystones". You spend XP points to make the crossing.
- Just Enough Items
By clicking "o" after accessing the inventory, you can trigger (if it is not already on) the recipe search menu for all items in the game. Now it will no longer be a mystery what to do and how to do it!
- Sophisticated Backpacks
Backpacks are now a thing.
- Epic Knights
Many more armor and weapons within the game that tend toward a medieval aesthetic while still being vanilla-friendly.
- Haunted Harvest
New cursed foods!
- Create
For the engineers on hand, Create is available in the modpack.
- Multimine
Remember those times when you were mining something and the moment you let go of the mouse button, all your progress of breaking the block falls apart? Not anymore! Your progress is not lost for about 10 seconds, at which point the block starts to regenerate. Cool, huh?
- Better Combat
Combat is much more natural and pleasurable.
- Combat Roll
By clicking the "r" button, you can make a roll in any direction you wish. There are enchantments that maximize this new ability.
- Boatload:
Several new types of boats, which even allow the entry of animals, furnaces, chests, etc.
Construction:
- Adorn
- Fantasy Furniture
- Decorative Blocks
- Frosted Friends
Now, you can create your own snowman and pick up snow with a new shovel much more easy!
- The Comfort Zone
- Comforts
- Suplementaries
- MrCrayfish’s Furniture
- Macaws's ... Everything!
There is a lot of other mods that I added, but I think you can discover them by yourself. Oh, and there is already some shaders in the pack, so disable them if you are trying to play in a notebook. Rubidium, Oculus and Flywheel are also in this modpack.
If you find any bugs, report me in the comments, please!
There is also no plans to adapt this mod to another version then 1.18.2. I'm sorry! But it is possible when I have more time in the future!
All the credits go to the respective and hard-working mod-creatores that I putted on this modpack. No monetization is being made in here.
Have fun!
