This modpack is a reimagined take on the original RFCraft 4 modpack.

As such, it's important to note the experience will not be the same. This modpack builds on RFCraft 4, updates it to 1.20.1, and adds new dimensions and opportunities for exploration.

Description

You wake up in an unfamiliar place, with a gun on your hip, some ammo to spare, and some bread. As you look through the flickering lights, you hear the echos of growling, and hear the mushy footsteps of something you only could make up in your nightmares. You rush up the ladder to the surface, only to find yourself in an unkown world, where you need to build to survive.

You start with no tools, and must first find gravel to collect flint. The flint can be shattered on some stone, which when combined with sticks can make some rudimentary tools. You have only a few minutes to spare to get yourself to safety.

When nightfall arrives, you find yourself surrounded by hordes of zombies. At first, they seem weak. But as time goes on, they grow stronger, and after a few weeks, new creatures with terrifying abilities begin to appear. If you're not careful, you might even find yourself in a terrifying new dimension.

Watch where you walk, and keep an eye out for plants to make vaccines. You'll need it.

What makes this modpack special?

This project, based entirely around being a hardcore survival pack with roots in the previous 3 versions of RFCraft, aims to bring the most extreme abilities to your fingertips, while not feeling like 'just any other modpack'. To do so, we bring mods to the game that many desire, such as:

Do I need a super computer to run it?

Nope! Despite having over 300 mods at your finger tips, we found that this modpack runs exceptionally well on these minimum specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650
Ram: 16 GB

We recommend for a good experience to try allocating 12 GB of RAM for singleplayer gameplay, however if playing multiplayer on a dedicated server, 8 GB is more than enough.

For dedicated servers, the minimum required specs for a good experience is:
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X or better
RAM: 12 GB or more allocated
