Description

RickySHD's Vanilla Vision Logo

RickySHD's Vanilla Vision is a performance-friendly enhancement modpack that preserves the true Minecraft feeling while delivering deeper immersion, numerous fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Every mod has been carefully selected to enhance lighting, atmosphere, and smoothness — all without breaking world compatibility or FPS stability.

🌍 Who is this pack for?

This modpack is for you if:

  • you love exploring — thanks to Distant Horizons and Visual Effects+ your world will feel vast and alive.
  • you enjoy building — use Litematica to construct exactly what you want, how you want.
  • you're a content creator — create cinematic timelapses and thumbnails with Flashback's powerful recording and in-game editing tools.

🔧 Manual Tweaks

Depending on your setup, various mods and resource packs can be disabled to further improve performance. Below is a list of common adjustments, ordered by their impact on performance:

  • (🔺High) Distant Horizons's rendering can be disabled or tuned down to reduce CPU load. Alternatively, leave it running while AFK to pre-generate all LODs.
  • (🔺High) Iris Shader are GPU-intensive and disabled by default. Some shaders may also have compatibility issues with other resources.
  • (🔸Medium) Fresh Animations may cause stuttering on low-end PCs when many mobs are on screen; disable if necessary.
  • (🔹Low) Flashback Recording can be resource-heavy during long sessions; disable if you're not using it frequently.

🪲 Known Issues

Sodium might show an "incompatible resource pack" warning when using ReShaded after adding, removing, Despite this they're fully compatible, something's just broken on either end.

Essential's menus and GUIs might be purple when using certain resource packs.
