The world of Drakgard is a sprawling realm of pixel-born myth, where the gods once wove a living tapestry of earth and sky from the branches of Yggdrasill—the World Tree, whose roots burrow through bedrock and whose canopy brushes the edge of the End. The world is broken into Nine Realms, each floating above vast seas and connected through spiraling stone causeways or mechanical sky-rafts powered by redstone engines and Create’s rotating shafts.

Here, Vikings ride dragons not just into battle, but into the clouds of innovation—a fusion of old Norse ways and brilliant steampunk engineering. The villages dotting the mossy cliff-faces and frost-covered ridges are hand-built with raw spruce logs, jagged cobble, and sprawling dragon perches. Windmills spin endlessly atop tall wooden towers, pumping water through aqueducts or powering contraptions of awe-inspiring complexity: minecart foundries, gear-driven dragon feeders, and rune-carved irrigation arms that dance across fields like mechanical serpents.  Viking culture here is proud, stubborn, and brilliant. A tale of flame and frost. Of iron and insight. Of dragons tamed, gods awakened, and machines made holy.
