About
Description
Rift Aftermath is a mod mix inspired by the pen and paper RPG called "Rifts".
The premise is that mass destruction of a world war has caused rifts to new dimensions to open. The world has become a mix of technology and magic and fantasy in a post-apocalyptic setting. Doorways to new worlds have been opened.
The mod pack includes a collection of the best dimensional based mods to explore. The Betweenlands, Atum 2, The Aether 2, The Beneath, The Erebus, The Midnight, The Twilight Forest, and Caverns II. The Lost Cities adds a feel of the modern world that lays in waste.
The basis for the mod is the environmental mod The Lost Cities. Layered with this are dungeon generating mods such as Roguelike Dungeons along with Ice and Fire: Dragons. Mowzie's Mobs adds to the level of danger in the world. Villages have been modified by Coherent Villages.
I've added all of the greatest tech mods, such as Mekanism and Immersive Engineering along with RF Tools and Applied Energistics 2 among many others. Railcraft, Signals, and Steve's Carts have been added to take advantage of pre-generated subway systems introduced by The Lost Cities world generation.
Tinker's construct is a must for a mod pack of this scale.
Magic mods are also represented in this pack with Thaumcraft, Blood Magic, and Electrobob's Wizardry.
