Ruins of Ardania 2 is the successor to Ruins of Ardania and like its predecessor, RoA2 is a high-magic / low-tech modpack focusing on exploration, adventure, and building. Read on to see just what it contains!

Delve into some classic magical mods including Astral Sorcery, Botania, Corail Tombstone, EvilCraft, Forbidden & Arcanus, Nature's Aura, Psi, Reliquary, and Waystones. And discover new favourites among Ars Noveau, Artifacts, Eidolon, Elementalcraft, Malum, Mana and Artifice, Occultism, Pedestals, and Turtlemancy.

You won't find anything that uses energy here but rotational force still exist. Fulfill your thirst for technology by using Create to make your own Rube Goldberg contraptions. Use EnderChests and EnderTanks to have them span across the world or even across dimensions, and chunkload them using the Weirding Gadget. You will also be able to create customizable Tetra tools from a great range of materials.

Project MMO is integrated with many mods throughout this pack and uses Runescape-like skills to slow progression and make the world feel more immersive. Be prepared to use wooden tools for longer than 5 seconds and don't expect to be able to mine diamonds only 30 minutes after starting.

Travel through the world filled with a variety of wonderous biomes from mods such as Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Autumnity, and Druidcraft. Explore endless caves, improved mine shafts, and expanded strongholds thanks to YUNG's Better Caves, Better Mineshafts, and Better Strongholds. Set down roots in Valhelsia Structures and climb your way to the top of the Towers of the Wild. Defeat the Conjurer and take the fight to the illagers and their Workshops of Doom. Discover the treasures contained in Shrines and Repurposed Structures. Trade with villagers living in underground Stoneholm villages. Battle your way through dungeons large and small (Dungeons Plus and Dungeon Crawl), and even enter Dimensional Dungeons from the safety of your own base. Explore a vibrant and alien End dimension brought to life by the BetterEnd and Endergetic mods. Battle numerous bosses in the Twilight Forest. And when you've conquered all of that, enter the most dangerous dimension of them all, the Abyss.

RoA2 contains a wide variety of creatures both friendly and aggressive to encounter. Tame Wyrmroost dragons for fighting companions or mounts. Make man's best friend more useful with Doggy Talents. Discover which Aquaculture 2 fish is your new favourite delicacy. Find more uses for honey thanks to Buzzier Bees. Befriend elusive unicorns and polar bears (Fantasy Mounts) to be used as two player mounts. Battle the ferocious creatures added by Mowzie's Mobs. Domesticate the lava cat or the silver fox from Mystical World. Slay the arachnon and hellhound from Pandora's Creatures. Clash with the thrasher from Upgrade Aquatic. Discover just how far the basalt giant (Infernal Expansion) can throw you. And if at any time one of your precious animal friends falls in battle, heal them with bandages before they are gone forever (Save Your Pets).
