Rust - a dark metal that forms when iron is left to suffer the elements for too long

Rime - the delicate frost that forms from fog or breath in winter, thought to have arcane properties

Rust & Rime is a lightweight (but content-heavy) steampunk magic modpack created with three objectives in mind:

1. Creation of a steady “home base” at which to build magnificent homesteads and maintain powerful farms

2. Motive to leave the home base in search of new places, monsters, and challenges

3. The desire to find and eat as much food as this world will offer 

Created for 1.18, there is no need to debate whether to prioritize Minecraft’s newest features or a modpack you’ll love. However, the exploration isn’t done yet. There have been rumors of more powerful foes yet to be discovered... 

Currently, the modpack contains 113 mods, including favorites like Create, Farmer’s Delight, Mystical Agriculture, Quark, Spice of Life: Carrot, and Tetra. Mod features are currently partially integrated, with more integrations to come. A full content mods list is in the spoiler below.

While the idea of 113 mods may seem intimidating, fear not! Many performance-enhancing mods are built-in (including all 6 Adaptive Performance mods, Oculus, and more), and if my laptop can run this modpack, most setups will work just fine.

This modpack was inspired by a 1.16 private pack made by a friend. Go check him out on twitch, where he streams games sometimes!
