Savaru IV - Kohtalon Mies

A class-driven action RPG built on Minecraft 1.21.1 (Fabric). Choose a calling, grow it through a skill tree of your own shaping, and run dungeons that get harder the deeper you go — alone or with a party.

The pack is built around a set of systems written specifically for it. They are not bolted on: loot, rarity, progression, dungeons, trading and the interface all reference each other.

Built for this pack

Nineteen first-party mods form the backbone of the experience.

Progression and character

Growthology — Configurable player growth and skills, with a talent tree you invest in as you level. Integrates with the rest of the Savaru systems rather than sitting apart from them.

Legacyology — Character inheritance profiles. Retire a character and carry chosen progress forward into the next one, on singleplayer worlds and on compatible servers.

Affixology — Mythic-style item rarities and affixes. Gear is not just better or worse; it rolls with properties worth hunting for.

Loot and dungeons

Lootology — ARPG-style ground loot. Items stay on the floor with floating name labels, rarity-coloured frames and smart label stacking, and you pick them up deliberately with the cursor or a hotkey. No more vacuuming up everything you walk past.

Dungeonology — Roguelike dungeon runs with level gates, affix-based rewards, experience payouts and a choice of combat buffs between stages.

Worldology — World-boss spawn protection, durable drops, safe cleanup, monster scaling and tier effects, so difficulty stays meaningful as characters grow.

Interface and feel

Grid Inventory — A grid-based inventory where items occupy real space by size. A greatsword is not the same as a potion. Includes a configurable nine-column extended inventory.

Hitstop — Character-action style impact. Weapon swings and spell casts briefly freeze the animation, shake the camera and hold struck mobs in place, so hits land with weight. Melee timings follow Better Combat weapon categories.

Hit Feedback — Server-confirmed hit markers, sounds and HUD feedback, so what you see matches what the server actually registered.

Dungeon HUD — A dark survival HUD layout with split hotbar slots and centred health.

CursorFX and ClickMove Marker — Cursor ripples, trails and style presets, plus a ground marker showing your click-to-move target.

Keybind Sync — Automatically switches control presets when you change perspective, so both play modes keep sensible bindings without manual setup.

Scrollable Tooltips — Scroll tooltips too tall for the screen. Compatible with Legendary Tooltips.

Interval Bow — Consistent bow and crossbow pull timing across modded ranged weapons.

Social and server

Savaru Trading — A server-authoritative marketplace with quick sell and secure player-to-player trading, integrated with Numismatic Overhaul currency, Affixology rarities and Grid Inventory.

Savaru Chat — Animated chat bubbles, avatars, notices, mentions, item sharing and dungeon party invites.

Mob Control — Mobs ignore players until provoked, with whitelist and blacklist control. Travel and building do not have to mean constant interruption.

Spell Fix — A compatibility layer that keeps the class mods working across Spell Engine's API changes. It checks each mod at load and patches only what still needs it.

Classes

Twelve callings, chosen through the in-game Class Selection page. Each comes with its own kit, resources and playstyle rather than a reskin of the same combat.

Class Focus
Warrior Front-line melee, sustained damage
Knight Shields, control, holding the line
Berserker Rage-fuelled aggression and burst
Rogue Stealth, mobility, precision strikes
Monk Unarmed and staff combat, mobility
Archer Ranged precision, trick shots
Gunslinger Firearms and reload-driven combat
Mage Elemental spellcasting and control
Cleric Healing, protection, party support
Bard Songs and auras that empower the group
Witcher Signs, alchemy and monster hunting
Soulwarden Nature and spirit magic, summons

Combat runs on Better Combat, Combat Roll and Spell Engine, with Spell Power Attributes, RPGMana and Runes underneath. Not sure what suits you? The Class Selection page opens with a short questionnaire.

Two ways to play

The pack ships with two complete control schemes, and you can switch at any time with F5.

Click to Move (2.5D) — An isometric, point-and-click perspective in the vein of classic action RPGs. Move by clicking, aim with the cursor, and use the ground marker and cursor effects built for it.

WASD (First / Third Person) — Standard Minecraft movement and aiming, with the full combat kit available.

Keybinds follow the mode automatically, so switching mid-session does not leave you re-learning your controls.

Alongside open-world play, Dungeonology provides structured roguelike runs: enter with a ticket, clear staged floors, pick a buff between stages, and leave with affix-rolled rewards.

Made for playing together

This pack was designed with a dedicated server in mind, and the multiplayer systems are first-class rather than an afterthought.

  • FTB Teams and Open Parties and Claims — Form teams, claim land, and protect what you build. PvP support is included for servers that want it.
  • FTB Quests — A full quest line, including the Class Selection page and translated quest text.
  • Savaru Trading — Player-to-player trading and a marketplace, validated server-side so trades cannot be spoofed.
  • Savaru Chat — Mentions, item sharing and one-click dungeon party invites.
  • Legacyology — Inheritance profiles work on servers, so retiring a character does not mean losing everything you earned.
  • Hit Feedback — Hit confirmation comes from the server, so combat reads honestly under latency.
  • FTB Essentials and Ultimine, Multiplayer Spawners, and shared-world conveniences such as feeding other players round out day-to-day play.

There is more here than fighting

Combat is the spine of the pack, but it is not the whole of it.

Food and drink — Kaleidoscope Cookery brings a deep cooking system, and Kaleidoscope Tavern, Nether and End extend it into new ingredients and venues. [Let's Do] Vinery adds grape growing and winemaking from vine to bottle.

Trade and economy — Numismatic Overhaul currency underpins the marketplace, quick sell and player trading. Village Taverns and Gazebos give settlements somewhere to gather.

Storage and hauling — Backpacked and Tom's Simple Storage keep long expeditions and large bases manageable, and Grid Inventory makes packing a decision rather than a formality.

Exploration — Tectonic and Lithostitched reshape the terrain into something worth crossing. Dungeons and Taverns, DungeonZ, Explorify, Moog's End Structures, AdventureZ, BetterNether and End Remastered fill it with places to find.
