Description
This modpack was created for the Savior SMP Minecraft server. We are using these mods for our server to create a better experience for the players of Savior SMP. We included 41 Quality of Life mods to better improve the experience for our players.
The mods included are:
- Alex's Mobs: Alex's Mobs is a Forge mod that adds 71 new mobs to Minecraft. All of these mobs fall into either two categories: most of them are real world creatures, like Grizzly Bears, Roadrunners, Orcas, etc; but some of them are purely fictional, like the Energade and Bone Serpent, yet do not feel out of place in Minecraft. All of these creatures fulfill a necessary purpose, and either have unique drops, mechanics or functions, as there are no purely aesthetic creatures. That said, they also help make some environments in the game feel more alive. The models, textures, animations and AI are all meant to seamlessly integrate with the vanilla game without stylistic clashes.
- Ambient Sounds: This mod is client side only, which adds a more vibrant ambience.
- AppleSkin: Standalone mod providing the HUD features previously included in AppleCore (note: AppleSkin does not require AppleCore). This is a mostly client-side mod, but it needs to be on the server in order to display accurate saturation/exhaustion values on the client.
- Architectury API (Forge): An intermediary api aimed to ease developing multi platform mods.
- Balm: It just wraps all platform-specific code behind a unified API (in the simplest way possible, there is no magic involved) and provides superclasses to use in cases where platform-specific methods are added to Vanilla classes. It also adds a simple network system (similar to Forge's) and a config layer with sync support. For Fabric it depends on Cloth Config, for Forge it uses the default Forge config system in the backend.
- Biomes O’ Plenty: Biomes O' Plenty is an expansive biome mod for Minecraft that adds a slew of new, unique biomes to the Overworld and Nether! To go along with the new biomes, it adds new plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and much more!
- Bonsai Trees 3: A Minecraft mod adding a block that grows small trees in a single block space.
- Citadel: Citadel is a Library mod required for advanced animations and entity properties in 1.14 and beyond. Citadel, being a Library, does not add many features by itself, but rather provides a frame work for other mods when it comes to animating entities, loading .tbl Tabula and .obj Waveront models, and for keeping track of entity properties. Citadel's predecessor, LLibrary, will no longer be updated from 1.12.2, and from now on all of my mods will use Citadel. Citadel's code base is largely derived from LLibrary, and the code is used with permission from Gegy1000, the maintainer of LLibrary and its author in recent versions.
- Clumps: Clumps groups XP orbs together into a single entity to reduce lag when there are many in a small area. Ontop of this, it also makes the player immediately collect the orbs once they touch the player, so you are not stuck with a bunch of orbs in your face.
- Creative Core: Nothing else than a simple core mod required by most of my mods, containing useful features like a gui-api, packet system, dynamic rendering system, easy asm transformation name manager and other useful stuff.
- Cyclic: This mod adds a large variety of unrelated items, tools, machines, enchantments, and a few potions.
- Dungeon Crawl: Dungeon Crawl generates large underground roguelike dungeon structures. Layout, loot and size of the dungeons are random.
- Fast Furnace: This mod does a couple things relating to the vanilla furnace, blast furnace, and smoker so that they run faster during their update method, improving TPS.
- Feature NBT Deadlock Begone: This mod's sole goal is to fix this bug: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-246262
- FPS Reducer: This mod reduces unnecessary GPU and CPU load by reducing the frame rate automatically when you are not operating the Minecraft for a certain period of time. As soon as the user performs any operation, it returns to the original frame rate.
- FTB Chunks: A mod that allows you to claim chunks to protect your blocks. It also has a minimap and a large map!
- FTB Library: Common code for all GUI stuff in FTB Mods. Component/layer based GUI creation. Used by mods such as FTB Chunks, FTB Quests, etc.
- FTB Teams (Forge): Library for mods that can utilize team progression like FTB Chunks and FTB Quests. In quests, it allows multiple people to complete the same quests together, in FTB Chunks it allows for team interactions between blocks without need to whitelist them otherwise.
- Goblin Traders: Goblin Traders is a simple mod that adds goblins which have unique trades. Similar to Wandering Traders, goblins are found randomly underground in caves or in the nether and provide exclusive and beneficial trades that allow you to take your adventure to the next level! Goblin Traders adds two new traders, the Goblin Trader which is found in the overworld and the Vein Goblin Trader which is found in The Nether; both with their own unique set of trades. These little goblins have a little attitude and don't like it when you hit them. If you're feeling generous you can feed them their favorite food for a fun animation.
- GraveStone Mod: Every time you die, a grave is placed at your position. To retrieve your items just break the grave. There is also a config option to get your items back by sneaking on the grave (1.16.3+ only).
- JourneyMap: Real-time mapping in game or in a web browser as you explore. JourneyMap is a client+server mod for Forge which maps your Minecraft world in real-time as you explore. You can view the map in a web browser or in-game as a Minimap or full-screen.
- JustEnoughItems(JEI): JEI is an item and recipe viewing mod for Minecraft, built from the ground up for stability and performance.
- Libnonymous: Libnonymous is a minecraft library mod for all of davenonymous's mods. It is required by e.g. Bonsai Trees 2 and Compact Machines 4.
- Mob Grinding Utils: Mob Grinding Utils is a mod designed to encourage players to create new ways for farming mobs for drops and experience. Contained in the mod is a fully modular system for players to explore and use to get the most out of their mob farms. Below is a list of blocks, items, and the various features.
- MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod: MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod is all about adding functioning and useful furniture and decorations. You will be able to find furniture for every part of your house, including the kitchen, bedroom, dinning, outdoors, and more! Currently adding over eighty unique blocks, the mod in continuously growing with new updates.
- Nature's Compass: Nature's Compass is a utility item that allows you to search for a biome's location anywhere in the world and view information about it. It is the sister mod of Explorer's Compass, an item that can be used to locate structures.
- Neat: Neat is a mod that adds Unit Frames to the top of every entity. That image is a good example of it.
- NetherPortalFix: Ever played on a multiplayer server, built near other players and when returning from the Nether, surprisingly found yourself in another player's base? It's because of the 8:1 block ratio between the Nether and the Overworld. It's really weird though that you enter a portal in the overworld, and then when going back through where you came, come out of a different portal in the overworld. This mod fixes that issue. It keeps track of what portals a player went through in order to ensure correct destinations when the player is going back through the same portals. The 1:8 ratio remains, portals just get smarter and remember where you came from.
- No Null Processors: Have you been trying to pre-generate large areas of your world with pregenerator mods and keep randomly crashing with this error? If so, congrats! You found a really wacky bug in 1.17.1 Minecraft! This mod aims to fix that.
- Ore Excavation: Allows players to mine whole veins of ore, cut down whole trees or any other tool based action in one go. Simple, easy to understand, configs are also provided for mod pack developers such as tool or block black listings, size limits, tick rate and much more.
- Paintings++: Paintings++ reads out special painting json files as the game is launching, to enable the addition of infinite paintings. This comes with a few downsides, mostly for servers, as connecting clients need to match up the painting registry, and therefore need the same painting packs as the server has.
- Placebo: Holds shared code for use in my mods. Alone, this mod does nothing but register itself as a mod, hence the name.
- Repurposed Structures (Forge): Repurposed Structures is a mod about taking existing vanilla features and structures and creating new variants or modifications to them! Originally, most of the structures and features in this mod was actually made for my Ultra Amplified Dimension mod. but then I realized these features and structures would look great in the Overworld as well so I decided to take those structures and features and split them into their own mod and continue to add MORE biome variants of vanilla structures! And over time, some other people even help contribute more vanilla styled structures!
- Spark: spark is a performance profiler for Minecraft clients, servers and proxies.
- Storage Drawers: Put your most frequently used items within convenient reach. Storage Drawers borrows ideas from Jabba and Bibliocraft, resulting in a highly functional, compact, and aesthetic storage solution that is meant to complement rather than replace those mods.
- SwingThroughGrass: Tiny mod that tries to eliminate those kind of situations when "I wanted to hit the mob, not the grass". Now you can hit mobs behind the grass! This works on every block that have no collision box (i.e. you can walk through it) not only vanilla but also modded ones, e.g. grass, flowers, saplings and even cobweb. Must-have for modpacks that rely on combat mechanics.
- Timber Mod: The Timber Mod is any lumberjacks best friend! One block chop, many tree drop. Chopping while sneaking will disable the Timber Mod, useful to not chop up your base!
- UTeamCore: This mod adds a Discord RPC feature. If you don't want that please disable it in the config file (config/uteamcore-client.toml) 1.16.5+ does not include the Discord RPC anymore. You can download basic discord rich presence as an extra mod.
- Useful Backpacks: Need more inventory storage? Then try this mod. It adds three new backpacks with small, medium and large inventory.
- Waystones: This mod adds waystone blocks that the player can return to once they've been activated, either through a Warp Scroll, a rechargeable Warp Stone, or by using an existing waystone to hop from one to the other.
