Play the Server: seattlemc.net

Welcome to the download page for "SeattleMC," a modpack made directed at those intending to join the SeattleMC server and experience for Minecraft.

This modpack can also be used by the general public, as it is technically a Vanilla+ pack suited towards an imporved experience in modern Minecraft with a focus on exploration and wasting little time.

Let us go over what has been added and what you can expect:

There are a few mods and modifications... about 170 of them to be a little more ballparky. Do not worry! Just because there are this many mods does not mean they are super heavy/intensive! The modpack is based off Fabric, essentially a smoother experience to play Minecraft in, and most of the mods within the pack are QoL changes, meaning Quality of Life! Mods like Lithium, Sodium, and other mods that essentially provide a smoother experience for lower and higher-end devices alike!

Other mods include those like "Additions," "Vanity Core," and "Vanity Slots," which are mods that just add more blocks and customization to the game for those who want a little more personality.

Mods like "First Person Model," "Shoulder Surfing," and "Midnight Controls" add a better feel to the game, as First Person Model gives you just that (best at 90 Fov), Shoulder Surfing gives you a more combat focused 3rd Person Camera option as well as a smoother basic 3rd Person Camera option, and Midnight Controls lets people like my wife play with a controller instead of using mouse and keyboard!

For Combat, I spent the time to combine a few solid combat edit and overhaul mods to give back the 1.8 speed many love, while giving things like the shield a proper use. You can expect to have impactful, real time combat instead of waiting for a cool-down timer to tick to 0. Plus, there are muskets, not modern day weapons, to give something that is better than a bow without it being a mod that does not fit properly into the game.

There are MANY structure mods that have been added like the many mods from the amazing creators YUNG, and Nova_Wostra.

The textures pack selected, as well as the shader addition have been selected to keep the Vanilla feel while noting that we are in 2024 (WILD!)

You can also make use of the amazing sound mod "Sound Physics Remastered" by putting on your headphones, or turning your speakers back up as they amplify and help the basic sounds that were once spooky. Speaking of spooky sounds, a few classic sounds have been added back!

If you would like to know a solid setup for your shaders and view, please see the images of the modpack. All but the three "resourcepacks" on the left side in one of the images should be enabled.

There is probably more to cover, but you can safely assume I put proper thought into the creation of this modpack for many to enjoy over the coming months.

Have a great day!
