***THIS MODPACK IS IN DEVELOPMENT***

Some features may be partially implemented, buggy, laggy, and/or unbalanced. Ye be warned.

Ever looked at the various mods featuring guns, working cannons, and ridiculous enchantments? Then you download them, play around for a while, and realize: the vanilla mobs are weak sh*t. There's no need to go through the whole production chain of 'Create: Big Cannons', when a couple smacks from a barely enchanted iron sword will do.

This pack intends to change that!

Features:

  • Multiple custom undead hordes, buffed Cataclysm bosses, beefed up Ice and Fire Dragons, progressive difficulty, and more!
  • The village has received plenty of content, allowing you to build the town of your dreams, only to see it burn in dragon fire.
  • Defend your base and your precious idiot villagers with mods such as Flans mod, Lucky's Blocky Siege, Big Cannons, Modular Golems, Guard Villagers, and much more.
  • Progress through Apotheosis to get more powerful artifacts! But beware: the higher you level, more powerful creatures will take notice...

Plus: I've bundled it with a curated load order of resource/data packs and my recommended shader settings, so it also doesn't look half bad:

Changelog from 1.19.2:

- Fixed when placing a trash can it kicks everyone in the server except who placed it. Even though it was really funny
- Fixed green glowing create contraptions
- Disabled dragons breaking blocks
- Disabled Create: Love and War Sulphur recipes
- Increased health and damage of dragons
- Added Applied Energistics
- Added Applied Energistics Create Compat (removed the rotation energy acceptor though, you'll still need to get to steel for that)
- Added Aquamirae
- Added backpacks (Just in time for elytra to take up that back slot!)
- Added 3 custom hordes

Recommended Specs:

This is a pretty beefy pack. I recommend 8 gigabytes as a minimum, with 12 as standard. When going that high on ram allocation, you'll want some launch options to help out with java's weird garbage collection. This is a great site to generate launch options quickly. It's meant for servers, but you can just delete the options specific for servers (-nogui, -server.jar, etc.) and it works great.

Shaders and resource pack were tweaked to work well with AMD graphics, and I have literally no way to test anything else, so let me know how it goes.

TLDR: 8gb min, 12gb recommended. Tested on Radeon 6700 XT, 100+ FPS. If you have performance issues, turn off the shaders and resource packs before anything else.

Semka- ?

Semka, the symbol you see up as the icon for this modpack, (aka Samekh, Semakh) is the 15th letter of the Phoenician alphabet. Derived from Proto-Sinaitic script and Egyptian hieroglyphics meaning defense, wall, or court. Or fish, depending on who you ask. I just like linguistic philology ('hedera' is another nerdy reference) so that's that.

Other Stuff

This pack has absolutely been a labor of love. I don't care much if many people play it, more so that it just exists. (and that the homies can download it for our private SMP). I've toyed around with modded MC since 1.8 or so, and this is just about everything I'd ever really wanted in a pack. So thanks for checking it out, thats pretty rad of you.

If you'd like to support me, consider grabbing a server through BisectHosting. I don't like shilling for advertisers; I specifically sought out BisectHosting for a link. Their support team has saved a couple 1000+ hour worlds of mine from accidental deletion, and they go above and beyond helping you bugfix your own custom packs. Real neat folks.
