About
Description
SFT pack stands for Super Fun Time pack. Totally not something else.
The motivation behind this pack was to give myself and my friends a suitable environment to play Minecraft without getting all that bored.
That basically means, it is not polished or seriously made.
It also introduces mods that greatly change some of the game's core mechanics, so it is not classified as "Vanilla+"
However, we have took great care to select some of the best mods we wanted to use, and I hope this pack can suit you in one way or another.
This pack is mostly centered around exploration and automation, while including several QoL (quality of life) changes designed to make your mining and crafting easier.
Some highlights from the mod list:
- The Biomes o' Plenty mod adds several new biomes to the world, making exploration more enjoyable.
- Tinker's Construct overhauls Minecraft's tools and weapons, pretty much making them modular and a whole lot cooler to use (and craft, discover, or.. steal)
- The Thermal Expansion series adds new opportunities for energy generation, storage, and resource processing, helping to automate many of the more menial tasks, as well as introducing new challenges.
- Applied Energetics 2 introduces energy mechanics (ME) helping you to store waaay more items and, again, automate, automate, automate!
- Botania introduces magic!
- YUNG's mods enhance several vanilla Minecraft features, such as caves, strongholds and dungeons, integrating them better in the modern versions of the game.
- Pam's HarvestCraft 2 adds a boatload of new food and crop items, allowing you to finally live that sweet farmer life.
Hopefully this servers as a suitable introduction to this (hopefully) fun pack.
