Description

Hey kids. I have a server, and this pack is the mods I use on it.  If you found this pack and got turned down to join the server, you can play it with your friends too. You don't need us. BE FREE, YOU GORGEOUS SWAN!!

The pack is a Pixelmon modpack, that includes tech mods. The intention is as we reach full release, we plan to add recipes for the Pixelmon items which normally are loot exclusives. What follows is a mod by mod breakdown of each of these mods, but the basic gist of it is that the pack will use these industrial machines for crafting pixelmon items, plus trading to create a functional server economy that's balanced to feed into the baseline Pixelmon end game.  Here's a breakdown of most of the mods that add features to the pack, in case you want to read through them.

CraftPresence - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/craftpresence - Modifies the client to add information to discord.

TreeHarvester - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tree-harvester - Hold shift, break bottom log, cut down whole tree instantly! I believe it requires an axe..

JEI - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/jei - View every item in the game, search for the specific items using the search bar.

Macaw's - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/macaws-furniture - An example. Macaw's mods are all incredible decoration mods, and I recommend looking at each of them individually.

YUNG's Better Caves - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/yungs-better-caves - Changes cave generation.

Terraforged - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/terraforged - Changes world generation to decrease complexity and add reasonable world gen.

Journeymap - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/journeymap - Adds a minimap and a larger map!

CTM - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ctm - Allows players to use texture packs with connected textures.

Controlling - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/controlling - Adds a search bar in the controls to find conflicts.

ReAuth - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/reauth - Allows you to refresh your login in game, without restarting your client.

Pneumaticcraft: Repressurized - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/pneumaticcraft-repressurized - Techmod that adds a ton of stuff, but to be more specific, it creates an entire tech tree using air pressure! I recommend watching a video on this one.

Online Picture Frame - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/online-picture-frame - Lets you add images to the gameworld from the internet.

Applied Energistics 2 - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/applied-energistics-2 - You're going to need to watch a video to learn about this one, but the reward is a storage system that will automatically sort all of your items for you.

Nature's Compass - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/natures-compass - Adds a compass that will let you find specific biomes! Very useful alongside Pixelmon.

Artifacts - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/artifacts - Adds wearable items to loot chests with unique effects.

Lightman's Currency - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/lightmans-currency - Adds an entire currency system!

More Minecarts - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/more-minecarts - Expands the usefulness of minecarts.

Sophisticated Backpack - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sophisticated-backpacks - Adds a backpack, kind of like a shulkerbox, but better.

RandomPatches - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/randompatches-forge - Adds some bug fixes.

Building Gadgets - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/building-gadgets - Makes building a bit less tedious.

DRG Flares - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/drg-flares-forge - Adds a flare you can toss out in order to light up an area!

Mekanism - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/mekanism - The main tech mod. Adds many machines and generators for processing ore. Be sure to learn it!

Pollution of the Realms - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/pollution-of-the-realms - Adds a blocks of gas, including carbon, sulfur, and dust. It can be destructive, so be cautious not to overproduce, and be sure to add proper ventilation using Advanced Chimneys, the link to which can be found here - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/advanced-chimneys

Crafttweaker - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/crafttweaker - Modifies recipes.

Chat Heads - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/chat-heads - Adds the player head before their message, adding avatars for messages for easier reading.

Supplementaries - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/supplementaries - Adds many vanilla + esque items and features.

TellMe - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tellme - A mod used for reading info about items, biomes, or other features of the world. Mostly for admin use.

Chipped - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/chipped - Adds additional textures for various blocks.

Pixelmon - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/pixelmon - The main gameplay loop. As the pack is developed, the different tech trees will feed into Pixelmon. Pixelmon adds many of the mechanics from the Pokemon games into Minecraft, with some differences to make it distinct. You'll likely need to use the wiki frequently for this one.

Serene Seasons - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/serene-seasons - Adds seasons that change the environment over time.

Farmer's Delight - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/farmers-delight - Adds a ton of recipes and crops! These recipes have unique effects, so be sure to learn them.

Torchmaster - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/torchmaster - This is supposed to block spawning near the torch, but we're unsure if it works with Pixelmon. It may be removed if we can't get it to function, but for now, it's included for testing.

Mouse Tweaks - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/mouse-tweaks - Adds inventory interactions you may find useful. Quickly select specific items in chests!

Psi - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/psi - A magic mod that adds a programming style magic system, where you can create spells that do effects. Will be difficult to explain what exactly, but the page has some good examples.

Geolosys - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/geolosys - Adds semi-realistic ore generation.

Jade - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/jade - Adds a HUD element that tells you what item you're looking at and what mod it's from.

More Player Models - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/more-player-models - Adds character customization and the ability to switch models to (some) mobs.

Quark - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/quark - Adds vanilla+ features, and aesthetic blocks.

Measurements - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/measurements - Adds a tapemeasure, which seems to be more precise than the abacus from Quark. However, they have similar uses, so this mod may be removed later.

World Stripper - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/world-stripper - Allows admins to check ore spawning by removing the stone and grass from an area.

FTB Chunks - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/ftb-chunks-forge - Adds an incredible world map feature and a chunk claiming system.

Oh The Biomes You'll Go - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/oh-the-biomes-youll-go - Adds additional biomes, which are compatible with terraforged AND pixelmon!

Playing Cards - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/playing-cards - Adds playing cards. C o z y.

FastLeafDecay - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fast-leaf-decay - Makes leaves decay faster. Just to help people keep the world clean!

CosmeticArmorReworked - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cosmetic-armor-reworked - Adds an ability to hide and change your armor, in case that respirator you have to wear all the time in your polluted base isn't quite as aesthetic as your base skin (mine is already wearing a gas mask...)

Chisels & Bits - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/chisels-bits - Adds the ability to break blocks down into smaller miniblocks, in case there's some detailing you want to do but you just can't do with the vanilla tools.

Astral Sorcery - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/astral-sorcery - Adds an entire magitech system revolving around star magic.  This, Pneumaticcraft, and Mekanism are the main mechanics, as of writing this updated description. (plus, you know, pixelmon, I guess.)

CB Multipart - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cb-multipart - Makes microblocks able to be combined into one block.  This means you can mix chisel and bits with mekanism cables to hide your messy cable management.  I think.  I'll need to test it, to be honest.

Polymorph - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/polymorph - Recipe conflicts are caused by recipes existing that use the same items in the same combination to produce two different items.  Smart people fix this by using crafttweaker and making sure every craft has an unique recipe.  Anyway, I installed a mod that fixes it.

Fantasy's Dice - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fantasys-dice - Adds nerd dice, AKA roleplaying game dice.  I love the shiny math rocks.

Library mods (List is still in progress.  These won't be described because I don't even fully understand them, but they don't do things players need to know about directly.)
