Aetherborne is a sky island modpack built around Create and Create: Aeronautics. Instead of digging down, you're building up and out — designing airships, gliders, and self-propelled contraptions to cross the void between islands. Every base is a hangar. Every factory is one good engine away from being mobile.

What makes it different:

Sky-only worldgen. No bedrock floor. No mineshafts. No trial chambers. The world is islands and air, full stop. Generation is handled by Aetherial Islands and Diabolical Islands with custom tweaks.

Aeronautics is the centrepiece. Create Aeronautics, Ornithopter Glider, Sky Village, and a curated stack of Create addons (Slice & Dice, Copycats+, Design n' Decor, Gears n' Kinetics, Crafts & Additions, Deco) give you everything you need to make working aircraft.

Automation that travels. Carry On + Create Aeronautics compat, Tom's Storage, and Sophisticated Storage make it possible to relocate entire production lines onto a flying base. Exploration with consequences. Lootr, GraveStone, and Saturn-tuned mob behaviour mean a failed expedition costs you something. Bring backup.
