Skywhale

Skywhale is a modpack for those who want to make the most of their game at all stages, rather than focus on grinding to an endgame. It features dozens of mods, ranging from tech, to magic, to adventure, to just plain fun. Configurations are optimized and recipes are balanced to keep the game from becoming a grind. Incentives for SMP have also been added to make player to player interactions more interesting.

Feature overview:

Environment - Encounter many new variables such as seasons, weather events, tons of food options, and biomes.

Survival - There are many new mobs to fight and befriend. Food has diminishing returns. Blood moons or severe weather could come in at any moment and reconsider your existence.

Technology - Brings you back to the old days of simple tech mods that add fun items with consequences if you make a mistake. Create reactors, generators, powerful gear, mining equipment, and much more.

Exploration - Discover dugeons, interdimensional doors, or build yourself a portal to the mythical twlight forest.

Magic - If the logical isn't your thing, that's okay too. There are plenty of other ways to manipulate the world around you.

Movement - Flight is disabled. Find creative ways to get around with grappling hooks, special boots, rails, and more.
