About

Description

I made this for myself to make surviving a bit harder, but still casual enough. The sections below will describe the bigger parts of the modpack in the following sections; Changed (typically mechanics), New Things (doesn't exist in vanilla), and QoL (quality of life features)

Changed:
-sleep system overhaul: monsters can spawn around you if you sleep in a dark area, you have to wait while you sleep, can lay in bed without sleeping, sleeping uses up hunger
-no more wooden/stone tools, replaced by flint tools made with sticks, plant-based string, and flint shards
      > may need to manually disable quark stone tool recipes in quark settings --> tweaks --> utility recipes
-crops can only grow in their respective seasons (unless under a glass block, like in a greenhouse!)
-eating diverse food gives buffs
-cut to the center of a tree to fell it in one go
-most blocks can only be broken with the proper tool (for flowers and wild crops, break the block under)
-copper ore only drops 1 raw copper
-individual body parts get injured instead of overall health
-villagers give cheaper trades if they are comfortable

New things:
-temperature
-butchery mod (use a cleaver to get a mob's carcass upon death, then chop it up to get tons of bonus food and sometimes materials!)
-tiered backpacks with upgrades
-tons of new food! (farmer's delight, aquaculture, and pam's harvestcraft)
-inventory pets found in special trees & clouds, always chop down tree before opening chest
-more aesthetic blocks
-grow food in teracotta pots
-upgrade skills like smelting/mining/swim speed
-time in a bottle (keep in inventory to gather time while online, then use it to speed up tick speed of a block)

QoL:
-open double doors as one
-right click harvest
-inventory sorting
-minimap with configurable information shown under and a worldmap
-villager trades can be rerolled
-gold tools have fortune
-pet dogs
-nature's compass to find biomes
-tons of curios slots
-tooltip shows durability
