About

Description

This modpack is made in my personal vision of Minecraft as a "cozy game," and features the mods Create, Alex's Mobs, Farmer's Delight, Serene Seasons, and The End Remastered.

Watch as the seasons change from your cosy cottage. Build farms and machines. Make a zoo with all the mobs. Do whatever you want to do.

Mods are added and configured with careful consideration that they won't make vanilla features redundant. An example of this is that the pack contains the Artifacts mod, but the umbrella item is nerfed to just be an infinite shield rather than that and also giving you slowfall - incentivising players to still make slowfall potions for the dragon. Sophisticated Backpacks is also included - but it is nerfed, and I removed the upgrade to put backpacks inside backpacks, and you can only hold one backpack at a time. So it incentivises obtaining shulker boxes to put those inside your backpack.

To beat the game in this pack is a little different - with The End Remastered forcing you to collect 12 unique eyes from the various vanilla structures before you can open the portal and take on the dragon - where an upgraded fight awaits you.

The modpack also buffs some vanilla features that I feel are underused, such as horses, wolves, and the brush - since you won't be getting an elytra for a long time.

Will this modpack be updated or ported?

This modpack will likely be stuck on 1.20.1 as I don't want to remove any mods should they stop getting updated.

However, it backports the Tricks Trials content and the biome wolves from later versions. I have not chosen to backport the creaking, as there is already a white wood type in this modpack.

I also feel too many important mods would be lost by porting this pack to Fabric.

What client-side mods are included?

The pack features basic optimization mods so that your game runs smoothly, as well as JEI (which replaces the recipe book). But it's up to you to add things like Jade or minimaps to your install if you feel they're appropriate (I just don't personally use them). I also added Oculus for shaders, but no shaders are shipped with the pack.
