Some mods are included but disabled (like InventoryHud+), so if you wish to enable their extra features, use the 'custom content' option in the modpack settings. To enable shaders go into video settings. Some keybinds may need to be modified for full functionality (I didn't want to do it myself so as not to confuse you).
