solar's funpack

this modpack consists of most of your mainstream mods. immersive engineering, botania, extra util. you get the deal, and if you don't know what that means cuz you just now learned of minecraft modpacks, get ready to industrialize your base with machines that can take care of stuff like mining and smelting for you, as well as doing magic to keep the mobs out. now i know what you're thinking, what's different? well mobs are smart now. trekking the surface in the daytime? they'll dig up out of the caves and get you. build a base in the sky or in the water? they'll place down blocks to get to you. in otherwords, you are absolutely never safe unless you magic up your base with warding blocks and magic missiles, and most of your resource gathering will be done with machines.

unless, of course, you're actually that much of a lunatic brave enough to venture out into the world.
