SoulsLike Legacy is a brutal RPG modpack built around challenging, class-based multiplayer gameplay. The difficulty remains high throughout your entire adventure, encouraging teamwork and strategic combat rather than brute force.

Every class has its own unique weapons, gear, and playstyle, and cannot use equipment from other classes. Nearly all progression is locked behind the quest system, requiring players to complete quests to unlock new bosses, regions, weapons, and content as they advance.

While the modpack can be played solo(not recommended), it is designed and balanced primarily for cooperative multiplayer, where each class plays an important role in your party's success.

This modpack offers strict quest-based progression that gets increasingly difficult as you move on. The modpack's first release only consists of ACT 1, featuring Easy stages with 3 different stages that you must complete to advance to ACT 2 (Medium difficulty)and others, which will be released later on.

The modpack promises a beautiful combat system based heavily around EpicFight and promises hardship. We say again: you cannot solo it.

The Modpack consists of 7 classes each having its own advantages and disadvantages
The classes are placed in order from highest DPS to lowest DPS

  This modpack contains over 400 carefully selected mods and has been extensively optimized for the best possible experience. However, while significant effort has been made to improve performance, we cannot guarantee the same level of performance in singleplayer worlds. SoulsLike Legacy was primarily designed and balanced for cooperative multiplayer gameplay on a dedicated server, where it performs best.

Singleplayer Setup (Required)

Important: To ensure your singleplayer world works correctly, you must complete the following steps after creating your world. Skipping these steps may cause your world to miss required configuration files, which can lead to features not working as intended.

1. Create a new singleplayer world.

2. Once the world has loaded, save and exit to the main menu.

3. Open your Minecraft game directory and locate the serverconfig folder.

4. Copy the entire serverconfig folder.

5. Navigate to saves/<Your World>/ and paste the serverconfig folder there.

Your world is now set up correctly and ready to play with all required configuration files.

Issues:

⚠️ Mac Users: Please disable the Accelerated Rendering mod before launching the pack. The mod requires OpenGL 4.6, which macOS does not support, causing the game to crash.
