Description

Enjoy the exciting journey through the progression of technology, starting with your very first flint knife. Work your way up through the industrial revolution, make a nuclear reactor, and fly off into space onto the many different planets and moons!

This modpack was intended to be a proper redo of a cluster of mods I had put together for a YouTube series I did called "Space Race", which sadly does not exist anymore. The mod collection was inspired by Epoch Runner by SbeevYT. My original goal was to make something similar, but with the ability of modern tech from the get-go, and make the pack less complicated or difficult.

World Generation

I have added many mods to make the world better to enjoy, such as Dynamic Trees, YUNG's Better Caves, Streams (which adds flowing rivers to the game), and Biomes O' Plenty. If you were playing for the right reason though, you wouldn't be on this world forever.

There are many new ores and biomes, better caves and mineshafts, and flowing rivers as I mentioned before. The environment will slowly change throughout time as I have also added Serene Seasons, which will slowly change the color and weather of the environment you are in.

Concept

The main idea for this modpack is to start out simple. No tools, cool-looking environment, but also no ability to bunch wood. Instead, you have to make flint tools using gravel and plant string. Now that you can chop down trees, you still can't make wooden tools, as they don't exist. After gathering your resources, the goal is to make some simple machines like the coke oven or blast furnace. Eventually, you make more complicated machines like the crusher or arc furnace.

Sticking to the industrial revolution isn't doing you much though. It is time to move on to getting more complex machines or nuclear power. Now that you have a good source of power and automated resources, it is time to begin your journey to space. Make your first rocket, fill it with fuel, and launch into the stars towards the moon or a new space station. However, that is just the beginning.

Other Info

The main technology mods that the player is centered on are Immersive Engineering, Thermal Foundation, Ender IO, Nuclearcraft, and Galacticraft. That excludes the many quality-of-life mods such as Quark, Rustic, or Future MC. I did also add Computercraft since it is a technology modpack after all. Another one is Mystical Agriculture just because it is another way for resource gathering and is a neat addition to the pack for any of those who like that little touch of magic.

OptiFine was not included, as it's not even possible to put in a CurseForge modpack. I don't even recommend it anyways as I already added some optimization mods. If you really need that extra bit of FPS, try going into the forge config and enabling the 'Force Threaded Chunk Rendering' option. It gave me an extra 30 fps but it depends on your system.

I have also included a resource pack already available for those who like the newer textures, since this modpack is based on 1.12.2. Just go into the resource packs menu and it should be there!

This pack was only made in two days, so if you have any problems or requests just tell me in the comments. Have fun!
