Description

Spanky's Modpack

A modpack designed to perfectly balance Minecraft.

Currently only compatible with 1.21.1 due to the sheer amount of mods available for that version. This allows the modpack to have the most amount of features to fully customize the user experience of the game.

This modpack aims to be similar to 1.16.5 to keep the nostalgia alive!

Features:

Librarian Rebalance

  • Customisable Trades: Place an Enchanted Book on a Librarian's Lectern, and their first or second book trade will change to the one you entered. This gives new purpose to the books you collect in the world. Some books are treasure enchantments and these will produce untradable (sealed) variants when bought from a Librarian in this way.

  • Limited Random Trades: Villager's Enchanted Book trades are random up to Level 3. You need to use the new custom trade mechanic to get a Level 4 or 5 trade, so first obtain this book as an item. I recommend combining two purchased books on an Anvil to upgrade its level, or use one you found in the world.

  • Rare Mending: Librarians do not trade for Mending so players will have to find it in the world. Once obtained, you can put it on a Librarain's Lectern to trade for more. It can be found in End Cities or Ancient Cities as often as an armour trim.

Universal Veinmining

  • Veinmining works on all pickaxes

Universal Timber Mod

  • Cut trees down instantly with any axe

Deepslate Tweaks

  • Deepslate can now be mined at the same speed as regular stone. This aims to balance the mining grind so that its still harder than 1.16.5 but also makes the mining experience more enjoyable.

  • This still means that the Y level goes to -64 instead of 1.16.5's Y level of 0. But with deepslate being easier to mine, it will improve the overall mining experience and will allow for early game miners to mine at deep levels even with an iron pickaxe.

Improved Vanilla Biomes

  • Biome terrain generation is way better

Trashslot

  • A trashslot has been added to your inventory, making it way easier to get rid of junk you don't want.

No More Birds (Phantoms)

  • Birds are removed from the game
  • Added an alternative crafting recipe for phantom membranes

Quality of Life Improvements to the Inventory Menu

  • Loot All - Transfers all items from the storage to the player's inventory.
  • Deposit All - Transfers all items from the player's inventory to the storage.
  • Quick Stack - Transfers items from the player's inventory to the storage
  • Smart Deposit - Similar to Fill Up, but also moves all matching items into empty slots, creating new stacks as needed.
  • Fill Up - Adds items to existing stacks until they reach their maximum capacity, keeping empty slots in the receiving inventory unaffected.
  • Restock - Transfers items from the storage into existing stacks in the player's inventory.
  • Item Favoriting - You can favorite items in your inventory by holding the modifier key for Item Favoriting (Left Alt by default) and left-clicking them.
  • Quick Stack To Nearby Storages - Finds all nearby storages and performs the Quick Stack operation on each.
