(Please Note: The server included in this modpack is made for 18+ players. It is in no way unsuitable for minors, but be advised most of the players are adults and there may be adult conversations.)

          SpellCraft is a modpack designed around the idea of relaxing exploration. There are many different types of magic to progress through, crops to grow, animals to farm and catch, monsters to fight, dimensions to explore, hats to aquire, and gear to aspire to. This is a pack catered towards discovering new things, building beautiful structures, and in general adding a bit of magic to the otherwise bland life of adulting, or trying to! 

          Early game can be quite challenging, with all the aggressive monsters in the world and the progression based system; but there are fairies to retain your belongings on death, so players can feel free to explore without much risk. These challenges make later parts of the game more fun, as you begin to accumulate powerful gear and enchantments. The modpack includes the address for our official server, which is highly recommended as this is a large pack, and running a single player world might require a beefy computer. However the settings have been preset to make gameplay as smooth as possible, even for spud based platforms. 

REQUIREMENTS:

          This modpack has nearly 350 mods. It's optimized, but modded minecraft is still pretty demanding for most PCs. 
          I recommend allocating minimum 6-7gigs, 8-9 gigs of ram if possible, and only change the gameplay and optifine settings if you have played the pack and know what you are doing.

          The resource pack is definitely a requirement, and comes pre-installed in the modpack. A lot of work has gone into assembling a resource pack that covers not only vanilla, but also a majority of the modded textures with a uniform fantasy theme. Myself and others have even personally added and edited textures for this modpack. Don't worry, the modpack has mods installed to ensure the added textures will not have an impact on FPS.           Optifine is required to be able tor un the modpack well, and for the vast majority of the modpack's texture features to work, including the beautiful starry sky seen above. However the creators do not allow it to be downloaded outside of their website, so you will need to download it from the following link. The settings are already preset in the modpack, you just need to add the mod itself into the modpack folder: Instances > SpellCraft  2 Release > mods

Sorry for the inconvenience of manually adding a mod, but the pack won't run properly without it. And yes I know their ad page looks like some shady spyware site, it's not, it's just an ad for them to make money off their hard work.
