About
Description
Kitchen sink style modpack with a large number of mods to support adventuring and exploration, while including Tech and decorative mods for building.
Sodium
Sodium can help improve FPS significantly. However, there is an incompatibility issue between the Sodium release and Fabric Rendering API that is being fixed.
To install Sodium with this modpack, we need to use a different branch of Sodium (1.16.x-next) and Indium. I've compiled modified snapshots of both that will work with this modpack. Curseforge does not let me include these in the modpack .zip directly...
Add these to your Spoorn's World/mods folder:
- Indium-SNAPSHOT
- Sodium-SNAPSHOT
- You can also add Sodium-extra which gives some more Video Settings: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sodium-extra
Note: If your FPS seems stuck at ~30-40, or unreasonably low, through my testing it seems to be an issue with Sodium. You can reset the renderer by disabling Compact Vertex Format -> Apply, then re-enable it again -> Apply. This is a consistent way of resetting the rendering.
Double Note: If you notice some blocks or item models flickering, you can try disabling Compact Vertex Format under [Video Settings -> Advanced]. This setting greatly improves FPS, but could cause some models to render weird.
Make sure you check out the ResourcePacks that are in this modpack! You can access ResourcePacks in the in game menu
