🚂 Introduction

StarRailExpress is an expansion pack for Train Murder Mystery, developed by our Catmoon Team. It greatly enriches the base game with new roles, modifiers, maps, modes, and gameplay mechanics.

  • Maps – 16 maps in total, including 5 classic train-themed maps, plus many others with unique map-specific mechanics.
  • Roles & Modifiers – Includes content from StupidExpress, Noellesroles, Harpy Simple Roles, and some from KinsWathe, along with many original roles we have designed ourselves.
  • Game Modes – In addition to the traditional murder mode, we have added a variety of fun casual modes.

This pack is designed for multiplayer sessions of 6 to 42 players (or even more!). By default, at least 6 players are required to start a game. Neutral roles are only enabled when there are 10 or more players, and certain roles have special spawn conditions based on player count or map.

Important Note: The built-in game map is provided in Simplified Chinese only. However, you are free to create your own custom maps using the map-making tool available in the admin creative tab.

✨ Optimized Features

We have placed great emphasis on player guidance, making it easy for newcomers to get started.

  • Objective Point Compass (B key) – Shows the locations of all objective points on the map.
  • Role Introduction (U key) – Press U at any time (even outside a game) to open the role guide. During a game, it automatically jumps to your current role's introduction.
  • In‑Inventory Quick Guide – When you open your inventory, a simplified introduction to your current role appears in the top‑left corner.
  • Map Introduction (Comma key) – View map details and learn about special mechanics. You can also explore maps freely using the Map Browsing Mode (sre:discovery).
  • Post‑Match Replay – Clearly see what each player did during the game after it ends.
  • Improved Results Screen – Winning players are highlighted, and neutral roles are displayed in a separate category.

💻 Commands Overview

Command Description
/listRoles View and disable roles / modifiers.
/tmm:switchmap Choose a map to play (also available via lobby signs).
/tmm:start Select a game mode and start (lobby signs also provide quick start).
/tmm:stop Force‑end the current game.
/setRoleCount Set the number of killers, sheriffs, or neutrals. (Neutral count can only be configured with at least 10 players; this setting is in the mod configuration.)
/sre:help Show command help information.
