About
Description
“You were never supposed to notice it.”
The first time I saw it, I thought it was a player. It was standing at the edge of the forest. Too far away to see properly. I looked away for a second. It was gone. I didn't think much of it until the next night. I was inside my house when I noticed something moving outside the window. It was standing there. Just watching me. I don't know how long it had been there. After that, I started seeing it everywhere. At the end of paths.
Between the trees. On distant hills.
Always watching.
Sometimes it disappeared when I looked directly at it. Sometimes it didn't.Then my screen started showing messages.
ITS 128 BLOCKS AWAY FROM YOU
I thought it was a joke. Then the number changed. Music started getting louder. 100 blocks. 60... 50... 10... 9... I could hear something outside. I locked the doors.
5 BLOCKS
I couldn't see anything through the windows anymore.
4 BLOCKS
Something started running.
1 BLOCK
The message disappeared. So did the music. I don't remember what happened after that. The recording ends there.
STARVED.jar is a VHS horror experience built around an unknown creature roaming your world. It's here. It has always been here.
It watches.
It follows.
It waits.
And sometimes, it gets hungry.
