Everything feels safe here, peaceful, quiet, perfectly still.

At night, the woods change. The lantern light seems to dim too quickly, and the path you're sure you built yesterday isn’t where you left it. Villagers smile a little too widely and freeze when you turn away. Sometimes you’ll wake to distant singing from somewhere deep between the trees… and footsteps that stop the moment you notice them.

Cozy life continues in the daylight, baking pies, tending gardens, decorating with pastel furniture—but the shadows beneath the cottage floorboards keep whispering, and something in the forest wants you to answer.
