About

Description

I made this modpack at the request of some friends that wanted to play all their favorite mods together without all the extra bells and whistles you see on most bigger modpacks.  I really didn't feel like browsing through existing stuff for hours and hours until I found what they were looking for, so I went and put this together myself.

They'd better be happy with this.

UPDATE 1.1 PENDING APPROVAL  NOW ONLINE

Not even a day after I upload this thing and those little twerps were all whiny about how I "missed a bunch of mods."  Well now I've gone and added those in.

This modpack includes:

Alternate Terrain Generation - Makes the world generation more realistic and generally better looking.

Bibliocraft - Some nice decorative and display functions.

Big Reactors - This pack contains some tech stuff, so what better way to power everything?

Buildcraft - Pipes as far as the eye can see!  This tech mod features many ways to transport and use resources for a number of projects.

Ender IO - A massive tech mod that has too many features to list here.

Gravestone Mod - Dying sucks.  Losing your items sucks even more.  This helps with one of these problems.

JourneyMap - Minimaps are nice, aren't they?

Malisis Doors - Gives doors smooth open/close animations as well as more door variety.

Modular Powersuits - Have you ever wanted to be Iron Man? Now you can!

Natura - Trees.  'Nuff said.

Not Enough Items - What pack doesn't include this nowadays?  Plenty of utilities, a crafting guide, and a great big list of every block and item you can get your mitts on.

Pam's Harvestcraft - Food is good.  Food's really nice.  I like food.  Food's really good.  Now you can have even more food!

Thermal Dynamics/Foundation/Expansion - A huge tech mod group that adds a large number of resources and machinery to the game.

Tinkers Construct - Makes the crafting of weapons and tools far more in-depth and effective.

Iguana Tinker Tweaks - Expands on the existing features of Tinkers Construct.

Tinkers' Mechworks - Adds a few nifty extra mechanisms via Tinkers Construct addon.

Thermal Tinkering - A crossover mod that allows for Thermal Foundation resources to be used in Tinkers Construct.

VeinMiner - For all your excavating needs!

ADDED IN 1.1:

Carpenter's Blocks - If cubes aren't enough for you, this might help.

Ender Storage - Because normal Ender Chests are sooooo limiting.

Inventory Tweaks - For when you're too lazy to move things around manually.

Iron Chests - Lots of items can require lot of storage.

Minecraft Comes Alive - Have you ever been playing Minecraft and then thought to yourself "Man, I wish I was playing The Sims, but I'm too lazy and/or broke to buy The Sims"?  If so, this is the mod for you! (Weirdo...)

Special Mobs - There isn't very much diversity in the thing that are trying to kill you.  This will fix that right up.

TiC Tooltips - Gives some helpful information about your Tinkers tools.

Utility Mobs - Who says you can't call in some backup?  Golems and turrets for all your defensive needs!

Waila - Okay, I legitimately forgot how useful this thing is.

(All API and Core mods required for the above list to function are included.)
