Description
[Disclaimer: the original release of this pack was made in a little over a week and is supposed to serve as a fun passtime to make me able to procrastinate work on Tainted forces, the other modpack me and a few others are trying to stitch together. as of now, there's no quest book, but some tips have been added to explain some of the tweaks made.]
[AS OF 30.4.24, THIS PROJECT IS DISCONTINUED AS I MERGED IT WITH MY MAIN PROJECT; TAINTED FORCES]
Terrafirmacraft may be an intriguing mod, but its progression, especially with the tiered metals, gets a bit tiring over time and there's many quirks about it that make it not fun for those who are used to big tech packs. When tech and magic mods are added to your standard tfc pack, they usually appear behind most of the TFC bit, or at least post- bloomery. well, not anymore! With Stone Age to Archmage, you get:
-a very early entry into the betweenlands to gather powerful tools to aid you on your quest,
-extremely cheap start into Valkyrien skies so you can move bases if your spawn is trash
-Mineral veins that spawn loose rocks on the surface so you know where to dig
-an early-ish entry into thaumcraft with more uses for alchemy (like the automation of lava)
-significantly cheap-ified immersive Railroading to get at least a basic train setup going
-more efficient ways of metalworking as you progress
-steam power with embers and tetra (the core extractors replace the ember bore)
-massive machines with way too many IE addons
-custom fuels and Machines to make gathering of resources more efficient
-EnderIO to provide more automation capabilities (mostly via powered spawner)
-Cyberware to enhance your stats from the very beginning of the iron age
Even with all those changes made, it is recommended to attempt this with or, for the more eager of players, against, some of your friends! I guarantee you that whether it be from carpet bombing each others' bases or triggering mine collapses, both co-op and competitive gameplay might lead to the instant termination of that friendship, or an extremely good time. Nothing in between.
