Description
Welcome to Stone, Steam & Civilizations a new modpack brought to you by someone totally inexperienced other than playing minecraft for far too many hours.
The pack is focused around building a base of operations in order to explore and learn about the new world around you. This pack aims to keep the feel of minecraft the same, where you can quite easily stay in one spot and build a large base and accomplish everything you need, albeit with some new technology to build. However, it also adds onto the exploration aspect by adding new dungeons, a civilization/quest system(Millenaire), and new ways to travel.
Along with that, this pack keeps a few principles in mind, the first was that I wanted to avoid over packing it with tech mods that are often the front-runners of packs. Instead I've chosen mods that are usually prevalent in other main packs, but often fall to the way side as there's less known about them(at least in my opinion). The second principle is that I wanted to keep everything in a different genre than the basic kitchen-sink of the future pack, so I decided to center it more around Steam Punk, giving some rusty vibes mixed with the manifest destiny that Millenaire provides.
Overall, I think this is a great pack for beginners and veterans alike looking for a different experience. It will definitely need some work, and I hope you all can help point me in the right direction, but it should be fun to try out together!
PS: This is meant for both Single and Multiplayer. Millenaire can function oddly with multiplayer, but it does work quite well.
