Storage and Stooges

Have you wanted to sail the vast seas of Minecraft? The Vanilla boat isn't much more than a raft, so how about a massive 2 masted galley with canons and enough storage to ship entire villages worth of good from place to place? Become the scourge of the sea, with your crew of up to six sailors, hired and outfitted by you, customized to fit your playstyle and fashion. Or become a merchant, or an explorer. The Horizon is just another place to see! 

Build one of dozens of boats, and see what the sea has to offer you. Build your own harbor and make a dragons hoard of loot, with Applied Energistics enormous drive storage, and powered by Voluminous Energy! Simple at first glance, but tricky to master. Hire soldiers and villagers to fight or work for you, As Strong as you Make them! 

And perhaps the simplest change we've made here is Sophisticated Backpacks/Storage. Make your own backpack, doubling your personal inventory from the first tier. Add automated furnace, a crafting table, a Jukebox to carry on your adventures! Make a chest capable of holding 40 regular chests worth of stuff and tables and cupboards to store your knifes and cutting boards, with Farmers Delight and Aquaculture 2 expanding your fishing and cooking options out to sea with your crew! Bait your hook or set a crab trap, then make a clawster boil or sushi rolls. A vanilla base adventure with just enough flavor to stand apart from the others. 

Various QOL updates, Inventorio to add a utility belt to keep your tools from clustering on your hotbar, Trees fall with one chop of an axe, so no jumping around trying to get that last log hidden in the leaves. Copper, so numerous but so worthless, is given new life as you're able to make most iron recipes with copper now as well. Farming becomes a little easier, with Animal Feed Troughs, to feed and promote breeding of your livestock, and Harvest with Ease allows you to harvest crops without ripping them out of the ground, saving time on replanting. 

There's also a legend told around the reformulated villages that there is a massive castle, held  by pillagers for generations, stuffed with gold and treasures, waiting for the most intrepid of travelers. Explore expanded and reworked mineshafts, and with a map from a level 3 or above cartographer, find the castle, claim it as your own with your industry and your private army, and become the King this world has never seen! 

Also mobs have a chance of dropping cards you can use to farm them, from fish to Endermen, to sheep and chickens. (I love that part of this pack, I just couldn't figure out how to fit it into the structure here)
