StumptMon: The Adventure Begins is a Cobblemon-focused exploration and adventure modpack built around catching, training, battling, and discovering Pokémon in a beautiful world. Cobblemon sits at the center of the experience, enhanced by features such as raid dens, badges, breeding, Mega Showdown content, Battle Extras, Capture XP, Lost Lore, trainer-focused additions, and numerous quality-of-life improvements that make progression feel more complete and rewarding.

Exploration is another major focus of the pack. Mods such as YUNG's Better Structures, Structory, Better Nether Reforged, Better End Reforged, Tectonic, Biomes O' Plenty, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, and numerous dungeon and structure additions fill the world with new villages, towers, caves, and ruins waiting to be discovered. Applied Energistics 2 offers powerful storage and item management solutions that grow alongside the player's needs, while Immersive Engineering provides an industrial alternative featuring machinery, wiring, and engineering-focused progression. Together, these mods allow players to create bases that support long-term exploration and survival in whatever style they prefer, whether that be steampunk-inspired machinery, high-tech digital storage, or heavy industrial engineering.

Combat, loot, and progression are expanded through Better Combat, Combat Roll, Simply Swords, Relics, Ars Nouveau, and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.
