About

Description

This modpack is a progressive modpack designed so the player can really feel the progression through the game by making the basic tools painful to obtain.

There are some quest, but it is just there to remind you of what you could or can do to progress the game.

It won't give you any reward or something really.

The early game is really painful, you can't just punch the tree and then makes the crafting table.

With "No Tree Punching", you have to find some gravel and stick to craft the flint tool to cut down the trees.

But even after you got the planks, it is impossible to craft the crafting table because the recipe for it is 3x3, thanks to the mod "Craft to Pain".

So instead, you need to build the multiblock structure The Crafting Workstation so you can craft in 3x3 crafting grid, and then able to craft the crafting table.

To make your life even painful, "Craft take Times" makes you have to wait for every single craft you do.

The recipe for the Furnace also changed so it requires stone instead of cobblestone, but how do you smelt it then?

Just like the Crafting Workstation, you also need to build the multiblock structure The Smelting Station to smelt all that cobble into stone and finally craft the furnace.

Basic vanilla tools recipe is also changed so it requires more resources than before, and stone tools is really using stone instead cobble.

With that, people can't just quickly upgrade from wooden to stone tools and then straight to the iron tools instantly.

This also makes people think before using high tier tools because they are really precious now.

There is also Transmutation Table where you can turn anything into matter and then turn the matter into anything,

but in this modpack, things that you can transmute is only limited to ingots and fuel, and not even every ingots and fuel can be transmutable.

The late game is progressive from the "Botania" Terrasteel tools and armor, which then used to craft the "Project E" Gem Armor and Red Matter tools, which then also used to craft the "Draconic Evolution" armors and tools.

The pack also includes some tech based mod to help you progress through the game such as:

- Thermal Expansion

- Actually Addition

- Applied Energistics

- RFTools

- Techguns
